Marcos Angeleri has been bitching about Steve Bruce. Noticed he waited until he was thousands of miles aaway to do so... http://www.rokerreport.com/2011/3/25/2071162/marcos-angeleris-stunning-attack-on-steve-bruce
He's obviously trying to engineer a move away in the summer, good luck to him, i hope he gets it. We certainly won't miss him.
I wish we had the money to let him rot with the reserves for the rest of his contract instead of selling him. It already worried me last summer that Maradona preferred to play a left winger at right back in the world cup, rather than our new right back signing.

TBH can you blame him, no idea if Bruce talks to him and cant see anyway its about him not being English but, has he been given a chance? If he is not good enough then why was he bought and why was he not sold in January. If I was Short I would be asking the questions.
It's no good bitching and whining if you're clearly just not good enough. He'll be no loss to the club.
I am a big, big Bruce fan but that does not mean he is beyond critisisim. Da Silva, Riveros and Angeleri, whay did nobody know? Kilgallon, was he given a chance? Bringing new players to the club is always a gamble but it just feels that a few too many gambles are not coming off.
For me, he's looking for another Palacios, a la Wigan. Not coming off for him, if I were Short, I'd be demanding proven PL players rather than foreign imports. Saying that, Gyan, Sess etc have made an impact, so maybe we should stop whinging about it and leave it to Brucey.
I have to say I am more than happy with SB transfers.Nobody gets it right all the time. The only way to avoid making a mistake at some time in the transfer market is to do nothing. He has almost completely changed Keanes squad for the better at little or no cost? When I was a lad my old boss had a habit of saying to me and other Wafflers " A man of words and not of deeds is like a garden full of weeds" .
If a personal attack like this is true, it's going to be very difficult to patch up. I think Marcos is a gonna. Bruce may have a point. Angeleri is not your average full-back. He's an Argentine full-back. And you know what Argentina are like - ten wannabe strikers and a goalkeeper, and even the goalie wants to take the penalties! We've seen it before - Julio Arca came here as an Argentine full-back, but rarely played for Sunderland in that position. Reidie solved the difference in cultures by moving Julio into midfield where his creativity and attack minded play gained him a respect on Wearside which has never gone away. And rightly so imo. At a time when Sunderland are desperately short of midfield creativity, I'm a bit puzzled as to why Brucie hasn't tried the same thing with Angeleri. I'd like to give that a go - after all, our most creative midfielder is 35. Is there anybody here who wouldn't want another Julio Arca?
I don't think there's a place at SAFC for Marcos now. Whatever slim slither of hope he may have had is well out the window following this outburst. I wouldn't want him in midfield either, terrible idea. He's spent his entire career at RB and occasional CB. Yeah, Julio was converted. But Julio did more in his first 5 minutes in an SAFC shirt than Marcos has managed in the 70-odd he's had.
Maybe you should do an article on Bruce's transfers and see whether the majority have been a success or a failure.
maybe you should do one one the mags transfers then we can compare, safc have made many **** ups but your lot are in a different league, be interesting though
most have been a success, at least an improvement on what we had. you have to admit though, that the south american lads he has brought in have not worked out. hopefully we can get our money back on them and they won't be a total loss, but it is disappointing. to keep things in perspective though, even wenger bought jeffers. bruce has been very astute in the transfer market, by and large, but i feel he has been most successful bringing in lads from the epl and france, and a club in our position doesn't have the luxury of taking a risk on a foreign import, which i reckon a lot of these south american lads are.
