Happy Friday to one and all!

Yeah I know we haven't got a game but a HUGE weekend of sport coming up. Hopefully the sun will stay with us as well.

What are you looking forward to most this weekend?

    England crushing the Taffs?

Swanny single handedly destroying the Sri Lanka top order?

Lewis, Jenson & Paul Di Resta making it an all British podium in Australia?

OK it may not all go exactly like that but it'd be nice <laugh>

I'm off to the pub after work then a weekend of sport & beer. I fookin LOVE Fridays!!

Everyone have a good one <ok>

I've invested in another alarm clock to wake me up in time for the Grand Prix. That's 4 so far.

I'm on the couch as well so the missus doesn't kill me (she was the unofficial 5th alarm clock) when it all goes off at 5:45 am.

Apart from that; packing boxes again for the move.

Well, I am running my 2 sons about tomorrow morning. One has goalkeeper training and the other goes to a local drama school. Then it will be either going to watch Bournemouth play Charlton or, if my youngest doesn't want to go, I will take him down the beach (it's 18 degrees down here today) with his bodyboard while my eldest goes to the match with his mates.

As the clocks go forward an hour we have a cunning plan of keeping her up a bit later to ensure she sleeps in.

She'd come into the bedroom at 4am if we don't.

Sky + so I can get up when I like and have qualifying ready and waiting for me when I do.
Button & Hamilton fastest in practise this morning apparently.

Also well chuffed, finished unpacking the last of our boxes from moving so no chores to do for me <laugh>

I've got another 3 weeks of packing, then the move and most likely another 2 weeks of unpacking afterwards.

I remember when I could move my worldly possessions in 2 hours using a taxi <wah>

OT can I just ask as it's something I don't really understand...

With children, parents always send 'em to bed early and then they wake up early...Why not just keep them up later so you can have a lie in? If they're getting up later, they'll still be getting the same amount of sleep...

Mine tend to have built in body clocks and just get up at the same time whatever time you send them to bed, just more narky the less sleep they have.

They have an internal alarm clock that begins to wake them once it's getting light so if you send them to bed late in the hope that they'll sleep in; they usually don't and then you have a tired, cranky little person to ruin your day :)

Hoping Swanny has a blinder in the cricket, as a fellow Toon supporter I wish him all the best, though the way we've played since the Ashes we've been lucky to make it this far. If we do win would love to see Swanny doing his sprinkler dance! <laugh>
