I thought we'd see Garcia more since he got over the injury. Maybe just at his age these injuries have finally taken their toll? I think at Championship level he offers something very useful though.
Have a look at his Twitter. He's been asked by loads of people why he isn't being picked and every time he says he doesn't know and you can almost see him sigh and slump back into his chair the way it reads. He also confirms he isn't injured and is in fact 'raring to go'. I don't think he's even that old by the way, he was 25 when we signed him in 2007 so he'll be 30 now I think. Younger than the likes of Koren!

Garcia really isn't that great a player, so to make out he's hard done by is a bit rich, I'd sooner trust the judgement of ex-England international Nick Barmby rather than sadly deluded regarding Phil Brown and football knowledge not very much of muppet TWF's judgement on this.
Doesn't everyone think the alteration in the number of subs has affected opportunity for players like Garcia? When you only have five subs you only really have one place on the subs bench for each position so with only on "spare" available on top of that, its easy to be out of the first team and then straight out of the squad. The game us so much more tactical with 7 subs.
I'm sorry for Garcia and grateful for what he did for us when we got promoted, but if he's not good enough now then the coaching team know that, to assume Wigley and Barmby can't assess a player in training is showing complete naivete when it comes to football. I hope Garcia gets himself sorted out with another club at the end of the season because he is a nice fella and a good pro.
Exactly. Nobody is saying Garcia is inept and not worthy of a Championship club - but let it be someone elses Championship club now! He is past his peak now and we all know his (many) limitations as a footballer - I trust Barmby's judgement in leaving him out of the team.
Nick, will you please just stop with the TWF bashing? Just try making the occasional post without mentioning him.. There's a whole host of us making comments about Garcia, good and bad, yet you somewhat aggressively single out TWF for no real reason. Everyone on this board knows and has heard ten thousand times that you don't like the guy, we get the message, it's getting really ****ing tiring to read now. The thing is, TWF doesn't actually give a **** what anyone says, and the fact that he's laid back about it makes him much more likeable in my eyes than someone who feels the need to blow it out of proportion and moan about it every five seconds. J.D, TWF specifically mentioned Garcias tweets on this thread and his comment regarding Barmby for a reason, you shouldn't be standing up for this cnut in my opinion. If he hadn't made the comment related to Barmby I wouldn't mention him at all, and if you actually look I only mention TWF when he has commented on that thread as each time it is a comment against the club. I appreciate your comment but when you read this thread back he has posted 'Garcia thinks Barmby is a twat' sorry mate I can comment on that if i like too.
I can comment on it too, you being the smart lad that you always say you are would appreciate that. To be fair mate I don't understand your agendas but you can comment on what you want and anybody else can comment back.
I never said you couldn't say whatever you like. Whatever is written stays there for everybody to see so what you write will always be there to come back and smack you right in the face.
