The rate other club fans camp out on our board makes me wonder if we do the same. personally i have NEVER visited any other board, not even the general chat. maybe am one dimensional or narrow minded but i have no appology - i completely belong to LFC. these visits have thought me that: liverpool is the most popular club in the EPL; rival fans secretly wishes to be kopites. what do you think? do you often camp out in other boards? and if you do, which of them do you visit most?
I post on the F.1 board every so often. I do like to read threads on some of the other boards (If a big story breaks with another club etc.) but nearly all of my posts are on the Liverpool board.
I went to look on the Bolton board after the Muamba incident but its completely empty on there. Might give the F1 board a look though, haven't really explored the forums too much.
I posted a thread on the Spurs board once, and it was a nice friendly thread with no WUM'ing. I like fans of other teams coming on our boards, just not the idiot ones who are only on the wind up and derail threads, and you have to trawl through their posts just to find interesting posts.
Was a mental race! Only caught the highlights (Because Sky took the races off the BBC! ) but it was an epic race by Perez! Alonso also did well considering the Ferrari hasn't looked great so far this season. There are some decent sub-forums on here but apart from football, they aren't too many posters on non-football. (F.1 and Horse Racing are the main non-football sub-forums on here)
I don't fancy it Saint. I'm quite happy just posting and doing the match threads. Don't really want the extra jobs and stuff that come with being the mod on here! I'll go and pop over to the voting thread now and rule myself out.
Most other boards are dead, thats why they all come on our board. The Geordie board was the most lively at one stage and thats where all the wums used too go but most of them left after the Gary Speed thing so I think our board is infested with wums now.
I normally stick to this board. I have visited the United and Chelsea boards in the past. Like Bozz, I have not gone to other boards as a WUM. Perhaps its just me but I view another club's board as their territory - you can comment or ask questions but you should always do so respectfully. I enjoyed the majority of the pre-match cross threads (only the Spurs one became nasty). I also enjoy reading the opinions of visitors to our board - even if I disagree. It is only when the occassional fool or the well known WUMers or the idiots on GC (sorry hash) kill threads for their own arrogant purposes that I get annoyed. I don't know if other boards suffer the same degree of abuse that we appear to suffer? It has got to the point where I seriously considered leaving the site. It was only loyalty to you others and a feeling of "I'll not let the bastards win" that brought me back. However, if the abuse explodes again I doubt that I can maintain that stance.
Visit a couple of the othes from time to time. Our is probably the best now and one of the most active - hence they come to ours.
Very rarely go on other boards myself as there is enough to discuss with our own shower of a team at the moment as stated above other boards are for other sets of fans and my focus is LFC not Arsenal, Chelsea or the manks...I do occasionally go on the blues board but just for a nap
never, and never on 606 either. if a thread appears on the lfc board it is open and if its a wum its an invite to laugh at the author. if its hatefuly i give the author what for... I have neve rposted an article on another board or commented on one.
