You do talk nonsense. You created a link yesterday to support your theory from When Saturday Comes. Did you actually read it?
IF only we had refs that were strong enough and not scared fo Alex ferguson would be much fairer game
Answers you say... Still no real evidence to suggest otherwise I take it? Because all those stats suggest is that United dominated teams at home during that period, which is pretty accurate from what I remember because almost all teams came to Old Trafford with a very defensive mentality. Either show some hard evidence (not just stats that don't tell the whole story but actual incidents) or take your "penalties scored" stat elsewhere with all the other conspiracy theorists.
Most of the top sides it seems may concede less penalties than those considered smaller. Has nothing to do with SAF.
Until Feb of this year I understand that Arsenal had the most penalties awarded at home, with 40 given in the last ten years. Man Utd came in next with 36 and are where 1 clear of Chelsea. Strange how Englandsfinest doesn't harp on about that.
Methinks an epic fail is in order. See if you can follow: Since Abramovich took over and Chelsea became a top club, they conceded five penalties at home in the nine years between the end of 2002 and the start of 2012. Is conceding five penalties in nine years so shocking when compared to conceding three in ten years? After all, Utd's success from 1993 to 2003 was easily twice as large as Chelsea's from 2003 to 2011. And particularly given that the number of penalties awarded to away teams in an average season has almost doubled over the past ten years, from 22 in 2001/02 to 39 last season. Oh, and don't try to blame the lack of pens on Maureen - two of them were conceded during the three years he was in charge. Glad I could help feed your Utd obsession. Oh, and well done for conveniently ignoring the facts. Sign of a true Chelsea fan
