Another one of the so called "news" shot down... 27/03/2012 by David McIntyre Bobby Zamoraâs agent insists the striker is not looking for a way out of QPR. It was recently reported that the England international regrets making the move to Loftus Road and is unhappy with the clubâs facilities, including its training ground. Rangers are keen to leave their Harlington training base, which was previously used by Chelsea, as it falls short of usual Premier League standards. They are currently struggling in the relegation zone and have won only once since Zamora was signed from neighbours Fulham at the end of January. But his representative, Eric Walters, hit back at suggestions the player is unsettled. Walters said: âItâs total rubbish. Bobbyâs said nothing of the sort to me. Thereâs no truth in it whatsoever. âAs for the training ground, itâs not as bad as some people make out. Chelsea did okay when they were there, didnât they?â Zamora, 31, has scored two goals in seven appearances for Rangers. He was recently linked with a summer move to big-spending Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala. http://www.footballcourier.com/news/story/1010928/agent-denies-zamora-is-looking-for-way-out/full_story.html
Is that the old "It's not my idea so you'll have to pay me more to prise me away from my dream club" tactic?
Like most of our so called prem stars they only shine when the suns out and unfortunately weve been stuck behind a great big cloud all season.
He's put in a few technically excellent centre forward performances and a couple of less good ones. Hardly the biggest of our problems. Needs a consistent presence to play off him and has never had that. Come on guys, he needs our support to put in an awesome performance against the Woolwich Arsenal Gunners XI.
What is with all the Anti Zamora stuff I think he has played alright since we signed him and he has had to put a shift in a few times since he got here due to his team mates letting themselves down and getting sent off. Some of you seem to forget it was not too long ago he was at Brighton scoring 35 goals a season so IF/when we go down he will be a big asset to us.
