If anything, this barren run we've had has made me more loyal to the club. It's easy to jump ship if things go wrong, it's tough (but worthwhile) to stay on board. It's gotten rid of a lot of the plastics who give us gooners a bad name, it's made us realise that even in the money driven football model, the Arsenal way is still relevant. We don't buy superstars, we make them. Hopefull Jack is next in line.
We have to play a holding player. I just think wenger hasnt found the right guy. heres hoping he does this summer
its bit of a catch 22 with regards to success and attracting plastics. Every man wants his club to be successful but that is precisely what plastics are after. As is written in my bio i know several people who have switched allegiances to both manchester clubs which makes me a bit weary of success (one of them still comes to arsenal games with me!). Theres no straight forward answer really and its just something we have to accept. With regards to gotze it may be just to hike up the price but that price is out of our reach imo. However we might need another attacking midfielder as although i have faith in ramsey, rosicky is getting old and wilshere is now more of a cm and beyond that we'll have to resort to our youth some of whom have potential but none of whom are currently ready. All the same even if we dont i'll be fine with it at least for another year but gut instinct says we will buy one attacking midfielder.
Odd, I never even considered that a supporter could change clubs. Seems kind of pointless to me. Sorry - you guys are stuck with me.
Gotze's better off at Dortmund. They'l be a great team in the next few years, and their financial situation mustn't be so bad if they can keep their best players.
