I disagree, after Ronaldo left rooney seemed to be having the season of his life in terms of goal scoring, yet he was not happy I dont think he likes the attention of being the main man However I think the argument is void for me, reason being that Park gets the nod in terms of captaincy over rooney and thats from SAF and Jones seems to have been higlighted as the future again bypassing Rooney. It seems at the moment SAF sems to agree with me in that he is NOT captain material
Park is a squad player and 31 to boot. Deserves a chance to be captain but you seriously can't read anything into that. I guess jones must be out of the running as well if Park gets the nod ahead of him. If it wasn't for that affair and comments about United he'd probably be captain already. SAF certainly seemed to be grooming him for it. Also most other United fans on other forums seem to think he's a natural leader and will be captain one day... not to mention his name being touted as England captain by pundits and the media. Only thing that is stopping his name being right up there is the ban he's facing. But what does everybody else know, you can read SAF's mind.
what can I say its a gift The pundits and the media overhype rooney yet his name is never seriously mentioned. how was SAF grooming him for it? seems you have the gift of readingSAFS mind too Rooney is not a leader, never was he is actually quite a shy person as is obvious in interviews, his mannerism doesnt exactly show confidence hence him being figgity. He just seems to want to play football, and his communication is usually full of effing and blinding He wont ever be club captain, and age has nothing to with it (as in Park) there have better players than park who never had the honour
SAF 2009. Since then Rooney has matured immensely and despite you're flimsy assertions otherwise he does do a lot of communicating and is a leader on the pitch. If you were to say "I don't think Rooney should be captain because of what he said about United" I could understand it. But you're reasons are just completely lacking in substance, comically so.
Who plays the most games? The full 90 mins. (Not De Gea, who by the way is stepping up like Casillas did at a very young age in a Legendary team) Enough said.
