Thats Ok,youre entitled to your opinion, but he is an integral part of our awesome back 4 and they have hardly covered themselves in glory this season. Some of our defending has been schoolboy stuff at best.
Can't disagree with that. I think Onouha has looked very dodgy at CB. He should stay at RB and Hill should partner Ferdy imo. They've looked better organised with Hill in there imo.
Look at Saturday,dont stop the crosses coming in and when the ball arrives in the 6 yd box no keeper no cb bendtner scores.This happens week after week.
None of any of our back four ( or their replacements) were first choices at their previous clubs ( possible exception of Young). Then I can't remember when we played the same back four for two games in a row. Plus they ain't getting much protection. So we haven't kept a clean sheet since........ C'mon guys, be realistic, half a chance they could be awesome!
I think the defence has done pretty well because they have to play under the pressure knowing that nearly every shot on target will go in. With the exception of Liverpool, Kenny has hardly made a good save in 2012. Saying that I dont like Young at all, constantly stands off his man and he seems to be involved in every goal we concede when he plays like all 3 at Sunderland.
Nobody says anything on the forums but my mate and I have noticed it for weeks, Id rather have a player that gets stuck on and occasionally get beat than one who just stands off and allows a cross in every time.
