Ben-Haim, Halford, Varney, Ward, Pearce, Norris. These are not bad players. Fuctas and Rocha can't even get into the XI.

Compare those names to what the likes of Coventry, Bristol City and Millwall have to offer, and I'm half expecting Pompey to survive. Probably more than half even (I have them surviving on my most recent attempt at the bbc predictor).

Hull meanwhile are on poor form, and have spent the whole season having no idea how to score a goal. The bare minimum that I expected of Pompey today was a draw.

Their defenders aren't too bad to be fair,but their strikers are mediocre at best.
