I've just seen an interview on ssn, he said he hopes to be back before the Manchester derby, this is good news, we could do with his experience in the title race, he has scored important goals for us and will continue to do so. He's only 32 years old and has another at least 5-6 years in him. He could win us another title.

How important could his return be ?

If Owen play on for another 5-6 years his legs will probably fall off! The guy already suffers so many injuries and has done for a while now, injuries have also slowed Owen down considerably, pace was 90% of his game and I really don't think he has adapted his play enough to still be considered a top level player, he's still a good finisher but if I'm honest I would much rather see Petrucci or Will Keane in the squad ahead of Owen.

Another 5-6 years! No chance. I'd be shocked if he finishes next season at OT and amazed if he's still playing at 35.

Still a top player IMO. Needs more chances.
