I "hated" Lennon as a player for probably the same reasons that 'Tic fans loved him as a player. He gave us plenty problems on the pitch in his time. I have no real feelings about him either way as a manager. No bothered if he stays. I agree, and have said before, he often comes across well in post match interviews. However, as the manager he's fair game for ripping the pish when he loses the plot and bottles the "big" games
As I said, only some idiots on the internet. You need to go back to Squiggy's original comment in which he claimed Celtic fans "turned on Gordon Strachan". Maybe the Rangers fans have a different idea of "turning on" a manager to me. See PLG for a very good example.

Nev you've been on here calling Celtic fans all sorts for taking an interest in anything to do with Rangers. Yet you've got time to look for old newspaper articles about Celtic. Sad case.
I don't think it can be denied that a decent proportion of Celtic fans thought that it was the right time for Strachan to leave when he resigned. But as I've said the vast, vast majority were also very aware of and grateful for his excellent record as manager. The major criticism was always the style of football.
This is the point that started the argument by the way. If talking ****e on a football forum is "turning on a manager" then the managers of all clubs must be in trouble.
