Seems like we were all wrong about venom being in a helicopter crash. <massivegascloudmuir> http://uk.reuters.com/article/2012/03/27/us-total-gasleak-idUKBRE82Q0G720120327
I've been on the Elgin on numerous occasions. They are saying this could take months and they have started evacuating Shearwater as well.
It's full meltdown in Shell today I was supposed to have a meeting for the evacuated platform this afternoon as well. Home early instead. Up yies.
As is Rusty Bullet and Baw Claw. It really is panic stations in here though. The Shearwater was supposed to be coming out of a 70 day Shutdown tomorrow.
What's the odds on it going KABOOM? I'm thinking of nippin doon the bookies and some insider info would be handy.
Depends on the weather really. If they have a milk pond with no wind for a few days then aye there is a good chance the ****er will go sky high.
Seems like they might not know how to fix the problem At least they've awknowledged it and got everyone evacuated. I reckon they should send venom on a mission to save the rig, in a similar way to Armageddon
I've been on all 3 of the platforms they mention in the news. I was supposed to be going to the Shearwater in the next couple of weeks as well. No chance of that now. BO-NUS
You still getting paid for it? I'm might be going to Turkey for 6 weeks to supervise the construction of an oil pipeline that goes through Europe. You think you have it bad being shacked up with loads of dog ****ers, I'd probably be in the arse end of nowhere with a bunch of greasy turks Japan. Flag. Arsehole.
