<peacedove>Newcastle United are flying high,Andy Carroll is likely to face his old club.Liverpool need the points
but Newcastle are not going to be easy nut to crack. Liverpool losing to Newcastle is going to make it LLL, I cannot remember the last time Liverpool lost three games on the trot.
We can only hope that our players are going to be up for this.<ok>

Tough game. Not confident at all. Bit you never know we might turn up. Can't see a clean sheet. 2-1 to someone. I'll go us naturally.

do we care? nope. I think we have an example of 3 calssic events coming together.

    1. hubris in the form of fans who think some divine right exists to top 4.

    2. we are missing agger and jonhson badly and peopel should take it as read that carragher is well past it.

    3. hubris from certain players what now have a minor medal in thier pocket they think they don't need to work.

Actually I think it will be a good performance because It's away to Newcastle so they won't play the frustrate & counter that is so effective against us. They are a naturally attacking club.

This will allow us to play through them instead of in front of them like in so many other games.

That doesn't necessarily mean we will come away winners as Newcastle have been great attacking wise this season and our defence is makeshift & extremely unbalanced at the mo but like I said in another thread let's go out and ENJOY playing football: smiles on everybody's faces, relax (in a lose the negative tension way) just play football.

Quite frankly: no one expects us to win and the hacks have their Liverpool are finished pieces already written. Not much else they can write without repeating themselves. And the Anti-Kenny brigade will still come back criticising after a 6-0 win with goals from Adam, Hendo Sterling and Downing so nothing to lose really.

I go for 3-2 with either side winning! Hope us obviously.

Fancy a win, we have a good record Newcastle, although Ba and Cisse will prove a huge threat.

going for a 1-3 win, although perhaps optimism rather than faith.

I think i have been relying on LFC too much for my happiness recently and they have wilted under that pressure. I am going to give them free reign to go and get whatever result they like on sunday. I am not going to be glued to the telly. i shall record it and then after the game casually glance at the scoreline to see how the boys got on.

Would be nice to get a result, but i dont expect it. A couple of goals would be nice.

Newcastle fan here, reckon you boys have a good chance. We're missing both Colo and Steven Taylor and whenever that's been the case our defence has looked a shambles. Perch has come on a lot but it's a big ask for him against Suarez, and Williamson is rock bottom on confidence - he will present you with at least one clear goalscoring chance alone.

Our best form of defence will be attack seeing as you have some good defenders missing, and you'll have a hard time living with Ben Arfa, Cisse and Ba if they play anything like they did at West Brom. Two men sitting deep (Jonas and Tiote) protecting the vulnerable back four and Cabaye in a more advanced role distributing passes.

Should be a lot of goals in store all things considered, chaps. You always seem to turn up for the big games though so make no mistake we know you're wounded but we're not under any illusions it's going to be easy.

    --------------Reina-------------------
    -------Kelly---Skrtel----Coates--------
    Johnson-----------------------Enrique-
    --------Spearing--Gerrard--------------
    --------------Suarez------------------
    ---------Carroll----Bellamy-------------

I think that's best for us for now. Our current tactics are not working.

If Johnsons still out, play Flanagan.

I really like that line-up, don't see Kenny playing it though.

Are Johnson and Bellamy both definitely back?

What we really need is a performance - win, lose or draw!

I truly hope that it will be a good game that we can all take satisfaction from.

I don't think Dave is on his travels, dribbling. On another note, our board is looking for a new MOD. I'm happy to sponsor you <ok>
