Since the game finished last night all i've heard is that Fulham should've got a penalty towards the game but we should've got one in the first half when Stephen Kelly handled Patrice Evra's cross but the referee decided not to give it, Man City had their luck last wednesday when Michael Essien handled Pablo Zabaleta's cross and on saturday when Gareth Barry nearly broke Glenn Whelan's leg, all teams have a bit of luck during the season and we deserve it, in my opinion i think Danny Murphy looks for the penalty i know Michael Carrick kicked his left leg but i think Danny Murphy goes too easily. Now that's sorted out i hope the ABU's be quiet for the rest of the week. Thoughts ?
This However not much has been said about the Barry incident against Stoke. That was a blatant penalty that wasn't given so these things do tend to balance each other out.
Why was Martin Jol asking for a red card for Carrick, clearly 2 covering defenders.(But yes it was a penalty)
Lets just end this nonsense once and for all. Since 2001-02 season to 20/03/12 in this season, United have had 55 penalties awarded to them in the league. Liverpool have had 56, Chelsea 55 and Arsenal 57. Explain that please.
United had one penalty successfully convereted against them in eight seasons at Old T ( and a couple missed). When we had JM we got all the decisions at SB. Accept you are advantaged at Old T, enjoy it and don't get wound up by it.
Thats my point all the big clubs get decisions not just United. Doesn't wind me up but it clearly does the ABU's. Must help them to sleep at night making excuses for why United keeping winning and they are so crap.
