The research was about Taekwondo where players wear red or blue bibs selected at random. The red contestants won more often. particularly when it was down to refereeing calls. The researchers recorded a large number of matches that were won on decisions and then digitally hacked them to reverse the colours and played them to top officials and asked them to judge the winner. The reds (originally blue) still won more often. I've seen an article claiming that they've extended this to other sports with similar results.
I think there is still a chance thw spuds could finish above us, but they need to pull their collective fingers out, they've been really poor for the past month.
Anyone seen, the latest quotes from Arry? http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7627196/Redknapp-Bring-it-on Bring it on, Arsene. What a twat.
He's going to look a real prat if they don't beat us now. Well done to 'Arry, he's managed to destroy his own reputation.
Even Mourinho wouldn't be that blunt. He'd accuse Arsene of something first, then get down to business.
If someone like Benitez said 'bring it on, Fergie' after seeing his team ****ing up a 13 point lead, the media will be all over it. Saying he is cracking up and so one. But it's Arry and he can do no wrong.
I want Arsene to start tax dodging, just to see how the media portray him. The guy has a masters degree in economics, he should be able to pull it off with ease.
Of course there's a chance its only 3 points!! But we have the more experienced manager and a team that has hit form at the right time. We just have to keep fighting and playing like we have of late. No complacency allowed. This Tottenham team is unpredictable, they could go on another good run or implode completetly.
wasnt it a few weeks ago he was whinging about chesney " talking a lot ." Now its old floppy chops doing the talking. Well arry , talk is cheap m8 , try winning some games before you let your gob write cheques that your team cant cash .
My only annoyance is that Chelsea did not win on Saturday, because that will really put the cat amongst the pigeons. I would really like to see a dog fight for the Champions League 3rd/4th places between us, spuds and chelski, and would like to see how spuds will react to pressure, I bet it would have been another lasagne episode... Right now, Chelski appears not to have anything in the tank and their continued involvment in the CL could prove to be a distraction. As a side note, if they win the Champions League, does that mean 4th spot in the PL will not get champions league? If yes I really hope spuds end up in 4th.......
