I've supported Lennon through most of his tenure as manager but would it be in the best interests of both him and Celtic if he departed in the summer with the SPL title and (hopefully) the Scottish Cup under his belt? It might sound harsh but I feel there's just too much baggage surrounding Neil Lennon and, with changes to the Scottish game imminent, it may be wiser to go forward with a wiser and older head at the helm. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
Yes......it does sound harsh to me. He may well walk away given all he's had to contend with but I'd be more than happy for him to stay for, at very least, another season. He's still learning his trade and I believe has been tactically naive at times but when one thinks of what he inherited from Tony Mowbray's disastrous reign, he's done wonders with the team (and as MTS has alluded to - I wouldn't want the bigots to think they'd succeeded in driving him out).

He needs a wise old head next to him as his number 2... And once a game finishes, he should go away for 10/15 mins and think/talk over the game then speak to the press.
I think for his own sanity he needs to go. He deserves his league trophy this season, but I think it's best for both him and Celtic that he leaves. He's not the man to take our club forward.
Last week he was in the sky studio doing st mirren / hearts match ,jambo's despise Lennon . A couple went out their way to say how well he came across and thought he had changed his ways after last season
Gordon Strachan got the same treatment when he was Celtic manager, everything he said was taken out of context and/or blown out of all proportion. People don't like Neil Lennon because he's the manager of Celtic, if he walks then the Lennon Haters have won.
out of context? he slated our whole country because HIS security advisors advised him not to sit in the director's box with naismith, ness etc.
That'll be the same country which has citizens who'll send bombs and bullets through the post and attack a manager when he's on the touchline?
Never a truer word said Strachan and Martin O'Neil were before Celtic and after Celtic highly respected by the English media, so much so that they even went to world cups with the BBC as pundits They abuse they got was ridiculous up here I remember we got beat at ibrox, Oneil went to the fans with Lenny, raised a fist to our fans.....and Bill "cough" Leckie had him dragging poor Lenny along to incite the fans to riot Utter ****s Is Lenny a great manager? No Do we require one to dominate this league? No Let him learn and build his team and become a great manager If we get a move to the EPL then its a different story
