Supers - I have heard from 5 or 6 totally different people that Tierney won't play because of 'that rumour'. Personally, I don't want to believe it, as I thought he and Pilkington were a great combination in the first half of the season and Tierney put in some excellent crosses. I do hope we see him in Yellow and Green again soon.

If there has been one player missing that has altered the dynamic of the team then it is Tierney. His marauding up and down the left and willingness to put the ball in the box on the run and early for Holt and co has diminished our forward impact. I am convinced goals like Wolves on Saturday would not have happened if he had still been playing.

I thoroughly agree with this and it is something I have posted on a number of occasions. I worked out the goals scored with him and without him in the team and it was something like 1.7 to 0.9 per match. He is very good.

<ok> Good choices. It's nothing personal it's just looking who is best for the job.

There are a few players who are having a bit of an off time of late. Take Surman for an example his either brilliant or absolutely ****e but for me it's more a question of consistency over ability I think the same go's for Johnson but in my opinion if your holding midfielder you need a bit more mobility.

As for Vaughan his barely been given a chance he only got back from a sports clinic in Los Angeles a few months ago and picked up another slight knock, so lets have a bit of faith I'm sure he'll produce the goods. Robin Van Persie's career has been dogged by injuries look at him now!
