Got no bloody idea what any of you are talking about, I consider myself to be very knowledeable, but when it comes to the Championship, it goes over my head.
I think Adkins has the makings of a top manager. He did well at Scunthorpe and he is doing very well at Southampton he would be foolish to leave Southampton any time soon, maybe in a few years he could be a Liverpool manager but the same was said about Paul Jewell a few years ago when he was doing well at Wigan he was groomed as a future Liverpool manager by sections of the media because he was from Liverpool but he is not exactly setting the world alight anymore.
Tbf, winning the Championship as a newly promoted team is good going. I expect most Saints fans would've been delighted with a top half finish.
Cant deny that mate,but he came on here as a wum and got treated as such. In answer to the suggestion the saints manager has the CV for the LFC job(whenever KK is not our manager)i think not,we need to broaden our horizons a bit more than appointing a lower league manager. A bit like Moyes at Everton,hes regarded as a good manager by his peers and rightly so,he came from a lower league to the prem and has done a great job for EFC on a small budget and hes brought some good kids through their youth system. But theres no gaurantee he'd be a better manager with money to spend. All managers have to start somewhere and Adkins is doing a fine job where he is.
Our present manager has won more than your last manager as player and as a manager so whats your point? Or do they give a cup for leading us by 12 points?
As a Newcastle fan i'm just happy that our lead seems to have been extended by 4 points this evening. Which is nice.

On the bright side for you guys, our defence is stuffed. Really stuffed. I can't see you not scoring next weekend, could be a cracker.
The big picture for us is even if we did overhaul you we still only qualify for the EL which we're already in next season. The FA Cup and playing with some pride guts and determination in the final 8 games is our priority now.
Well this is the test for these players now isn't it. They should be told now that these final 10(hope) games will go a long way to deciding whether they will be first pick or squad players next year. We're all being understanding (mostly) but KD is taking a lot of flack for these lot: they need to repay that with at least some ballsy performances. And will everybody fans, players and Kenny play the next match with a big 'ol smile!
Thats a good point frank. But very rarely does KD pick players out for stick in public and he tries to keep all things in house,but he and the rest of the backroom staff should be seen to be kicking arse and shaming the none triers.
Hey: I'd rather it was in private: if they don't respond to that kind of respect shown to them as professionals then the doors thatta way! Honestly don't think it's that way though. Actually think all the new players care a great deal and are maybe just a little shell shocked. I've noticed Adam isn't really twittering anymore. When he joined he tried responding to practically every fan texting him but now the odd retweet for charity. I can only assume he gotta lot of stick recently. Same with Kuyt & Glen Johnson. Lucas & Suarez still going strong though lol!
