No, the fairies will not hear him. For some reason, they are always said to be at the bottom of the garden which is too far away to hear anything. Why are they not at the top of the garden and within earshot? Presumably, for the same reason that all the "miraculous" cures which have happened, are always of things that could get better on their own. I have never seen an amputee having much luck with any of the quack/spiritual/alternative therapies! So maybe the fairies just aren't there?
It is to do with Bradbury sacking pulling South Today over to Bournemouth. Greedy sods. Next week it will happen!
Is it the same BBC1 everywhere, or is this one of the things BBC does locally like the news? I'm in Belfast but wouldnt want to miss it.
It'll be on South Today - The regional news. If you're not in the catchment area for receiving BBC South it doesn't matter - as long as you have SKY you can still get it... I think it's Channel 984 but you'll have to check that
This is something which annoys me about the BBC iPlayer, for example. We all know that you can watch LIVE TV on the BBC iPlayer, but you can only watch what London is viewing. OK, I accept that they can't get the regional programmes on the servers, that's fine, though still slightly annoying, as with tonight when Late Kick Off will be on. About 3 hours after transmission, you can watch any regional programme you like from any other region. Which means I can watch Late Kick Off for the South, and any other regions editions. And so can you, of course. Which also means you can watch South Today from Northern Ireland, albeit a few hours later. And as someone else mentioned, if you have SKY you can still watch it. Better still, if you have FreeSat, you can watch it without subscription. Which means not paying Murdoch any money.
Was probably dropped to air that utterly un-fascinating story about bike motocross that clearly was going to appeal to at least 17 viewers. Thats what gets me about the bbc, trying to be TOO fair to minority sports. Its ok if there is absolutely nothing else to report, but on Monday after a full weekend of football, bloody odd to air stuff (like Pompey FC news) that will only be of interest to a few dozen people.
Do remember that Husband received a cancellation call from Saints, so it was from our end that they didn't do the news item. Besides, I like a bit of Motocross.
Of course managerless Bournemouth is much more important, hey ho, we are only top of the league and winning 'routinely' on Saturday, blink and you miss the highlights.
