Not sure if that's a psych advantage for City, it seems to spur us on a bit more tbh. I'm more worried when we are flying at the top and risking complacency. Look at our record this season: Early October - a few big wins have pushed us past City on goal difference. We draw to Liverpool then lose to City to drop five points behind. Xmas - A pair of 5-0s against Fulham and Wigan put us level with City. We lose to Blackburn and Newcastle and drop back again. Personally I'd rather City get a draw at Stoke to keep the pressure on, then we get a narrow win against Fulham. It will give us a cushion but keep the players focused so we don't get ambushed like in 98 or 10.
I see what your saying about keeping the pressure on, but the more points we get ahead the better. We should know by now never to get complacent, especially after Europe.
Fulham, on their day, can beat anyone. We have been so inconsistent this season it really depend which Fulham team turns up today. I'm always though quietly optimistic.
Not sure why but I've got a bad feeling that we could drop points in this match. I hope i am proven wrong.
3-0 I reckon. Fulham will try to make it difficult but we are on a roll. Last 8 games we have won 7 drawn 1 in the league.
NO NEED to be nervous I saw us match Citeh on Saturday and there is NO WAY they will win all their remaining games IMO they looked average.. I have a lot of time for Fulham but just to make that pt for us (Stoke) even sweeter I hope you win tonight.. afterwhich. Good luck to both Utd and Fulham.
