Oh the indignity - Rangers cannot control their own directors, never mind the fans

    http://sport.stv.tv/football/scotti...-to-clarify-neil-lennon-directors-box-advice/

Celtic FC have clarified the circumstances surrounding Neil Lennon’s dismissal to the stands during Sunday’s Old Firm derby defeat.

The Hoops boss watched the second half of the match at Ibrox in the media room after being told he couldn't return to the touchline by referee Callum Murray.

Lennon said he was advised against viewing the game from the directors boss, a move which he claimed left him feeling unable to do his job.

In a statement released on Monday, the Parkhead club said that it was their own security personnel who advised Lennon.

It read: "Further to certain media reports today, for clarification, Neil was advised by Celtic's own security and operations staff not to enter the stand or directors box area at Ibrox at yesterday's match.

“He was then provided another area by Rangers in which to watch the match".

Game should be replayed , if Rangers can't provide safety for our manager , this in not within the rules of football , again one rule for all teams another for Rangers .Bad enough playing for an hour wrongly with ten men then 30 mins with 9 men , this is when you require your manager the most . A disgrace and a further embarrasment for Scottish football .

Has there ever been a game involving Celtic which has been refereed fairly?

    I honestly don't think so.

Harry it is bad enough to have to play for an hour with 10 men and over half an hour with nine but for the whole game
they had 12 men. I knew the Directors box wasn't safe with kicker JOhn Greig. Harry do you remember him their legend
I cannot for the life of me know why, He captained Ranger through their leanest years ever. Apart from sending opposition
players into casualty on a regular basis he had to be the most ineffective Rangers captain ever. It wasn't that they didn't
have the usual band of top notch referees trying their very best but he still could not hack it. Why if Rangers could not
provide protection for the Celtic Manager, then surely the referee should have abandoned the game. But that would be
fair Callum Murray wasn't mean't to be fair. Is that why the police visited him last week.

Aye just like when aggressive Celtic fans attacked Gordon Strachan on the pitch not just once but twice.

    Aye very good.

You'd probably want the 99 title decider replayed even thought it was your fans that assaulted Hugh Dallas.

Super , the two things I remember about John greig other than his stupid beard , He broke Bobby Lennox leg and ref waved play on , no penalty , the other one also at Ibrox again Celtic had a shot Alex( horrible wee man )McDonald made a great save with his hand , Celtic and Rangers players stopped the most stonewall penalty in the history of football , ref play on , two people broke upfield the ref and John Greig . To this day I am still surprised Greig scored and not the ref himself . That was time MacNeil was going to take us off the park , big jock stepped in and told us to stay on. I reckon I've been to Ibrox nearly 75/80 times half of them I 've walked away wondering why the rules of football arn't applied there .

The 99 title will not have to be played again, as Rangers are going to be stripped of the title for playing illegal players. EasterRoadfan
thanks for remembering me. I forgot that was another tainted title by Rangers. There are so many that it would be quite easy to forget,
so if you can remember another instance, please post to remind me.
