Morning all - blimey H, you were up early...

Starting out to be a bright sunny day in West West London after a cold start in Bandit Country - had to scrape a layer of frost off of the Zil this morning.

Good to see the team has a complete week off this week..chance for a few injuries, knocks and niggles to heal..

Lovely day here once more. I really can get used to it. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Been out to get 80 litres of council compost for €1.50. Last time I went a couple of weeks ago there was a huge heap of it, this morning it has nearly all gone. Will have to make another trip when they get back from their dinner. I suspect that a great deal of the €1.50s goes into the cost of the meal, as depending on which council man is there, sometimes I get a receipt and othertimes I don't. <confused>

Sorry i did not reply yesterday but just as I sat down the kids came round for a visit and I never got a chance to return to my computer.

My wife comes from Dinas Powis and we go down to take flowers to the Crem at Thornhill for her Parents about 4 times a year, we like to make a long weekend of it each time and usually go with friends. This time we went to Llantwich-Major and stayed in a converted Brewery. The four of us had a great time and spent saturday afternoon on the beach with a picnic and a couple of bottles of wine. First time in seven years we have been to the Crem when it wasn't raining I think at last the Mother-in-law has forgiven me. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Charlie, that is quite near to my homeland but it is where my other half is from, I love Inverness it is a really nice place;) We did think about retiring up there once we both come of the RAF but now we are not so sure where we will end up!

Are you Gavin or Stacey ? :)

My brother lives in Ballater which is not so very far from there - he loves it and it is surprisingly dry - seems only the west half of Scotland is wet - like Wales and western England

That would be the gulf stream then? Similar to Galacia on the West Coast of Northern Spain....also share many Celtish cultural similarities. But you can get a very nice white wine from Galacia....
