That is a hell of an ask HAIG considering the fact we seem a little goal shy at the moment. I do however, love your optimism and I too hope we can win 7 and draw 1 out of the last 8 games.
I can't see a prediction, all I can see is hope now. I never imagined the Goons above us and clear so soon, having looked at their games left, yes they have City and the Chavs...at home, and as we found out they're strong at home. In the other 6 they have the bottom 3 clubs aswell, they do have to go to Stoke though, which I'd say is trickier than the Chav game. Right now they have momentum and belief which we don't, so we'll do well to hang on to 4th at this rate, but I hope I'm wrong.
Is this the only way they let certain people into Klanfield nowadays? please log in to view this image
I've consulted my dowsing crystals, studied with sage Lawrenson, starved myself for 3 days and meditated for a further 3 more days. I now believe I have gained enough insight to bring you the following table. Behold: please log in to view this image
that idiot Robbie Savage said yesterday on 5 live he thinks Chelsea will beat us for 4th Place, proves he knows nothing about football, and only knows how to kick players
Savage is not the only professional pundit who believes we'll end up in 5th. That god of pundity that is called Stan Collymore made exactly the same bold prediction on TalkSport, last week. His reasoning? Arsenal and Chelsea have "been here before" and Spurs haven't
We were doing better when pundits were writing us off earlier in the season, then they started jinxing us. Hopefully we'll go back to winning ways no we've been written off again.
The most promising season for us in my life was 86/87...we ended up playing the best football in the league after a really poor start...only to lose a cup semi replay v the goons, the fa cup finall and died off in the league...I fear that sort of heart break this season ...
