What kind of operation are they running over at Ibrox nowadays? I mean I know money is tight and that some cutbacks have been made but surely to God they have enough Security people to let Neil Lennon sit safely in The Directorâs box? What does it say about Ibrox - that bastion of dignity and tolerance â and itâs inhabitants that such a thing was allowed to happen? Are we so backward in this country that people would actually try to do harm to the manager of a football team for no other reason than the fact that he IS the âmanager of a football teamâ? (alebit the manager of Celtic). No, it seems even the Rangers Directors (whoever they are nowadays) cannot be trusted to refrain from attacking or abusing him, that must be the conclusion we should draw from this disgraceful decision. Or could it simply be that the security staff overstepped the mark and spoke, not on behalf of Rangers, but through incompetence or stupidity? I doubt it, so the only logical conclusion is that someone in authority within the Rangers hierarchy made the decision to refuse Lennon permission to sit amongst them. The hate is still there obviously, the financial problems must have made it bubble to the surface again and the Directors, (decent men Iâm sure) should hang their heads in shame for this disgraceful treatment of Neil Lennon.
If Lennon can't to conduct himself in a manner befitting the manager of one of the country's biggest teams, then he should not be allowed to sit amongst those who can. Before the game he spoke that it was so important to maintain discipline only for himself to get papped from the touchline when his rhage boiled over. If he could behave then there would be no issue.
The FOD have eyes everywhere, even though no one saw him doing anything wrong the just know that he must have.
Two sides to every story. Just cos Lennon says he behaved doesn't mean it is so. He that clearly doesn't know how to behave as his track record has shown. That and he wouldn't be allowed into the directors box with a scruffy tracksuit covered in his own drool. Dress code dontcha know.
Where has it been said that Neil Lennon wouldn't be safe in the director's box? I've heard a few people say it but I'm just wondering where it's all came from? Was it Lennon himself who said it?
As a few of the Ibrox Directors appear to be career criminals is it any wonder police are worried for his safety
all the seats round about the box are posh seats anyway. what a load of ****e. he just couldnt be ****ed walking up all those stairs.
