HIAG is the gift that never stops giving. Before the cretin got banned from our board, he was going on about how we will be competing with the likes of Stoke and be flirting with relegation. Can't be asked to dig it up, though.

fuk me , who would have though a muppet could be SO wrong on SO many things.

arsenal will probably get tonked by 'pool next weekend, WRONG

and then they have the humiliating return of ac milan to face WRONG
(for what will probably be their last cl game for quite some while), WRONG
then they have the toon and villa, both difficult games for arsenal. WRONG

If whinger can keep milan's aggregate score down to double figures, he might still manage to cling on, but i suspect his pride will force him to walk. WRONG

Shame, because, like you, i'd love him to stay at afc .....jibber jibber .

Unlike your manager who would end up in

a ) prison for evading tax
    b) the england job (god i hope not )

tut tut HIAG , better just give up now .

No, I mean your statement 'The North London Power shift has been coming for a while and now it is complete'
You remember the one that HIAG had in his signature for a while ?

  7. Yes and it did complete. They were better than us and had closed the gap which was sizeable. I don't think that can be disputed.

I am not concerned with admitting it when a team is better than us.

As it stands it looks like their spell as top dogs in North London is going to be short - thankfully.

but this isnt any team , this is SPURS ! flash in the pan is their middle name .

but i guess you did set them up to make some ridiculous statements so its not all bad ....

  9. Indeed - but flash in the pan or not, over 2011 they caught us up and went past us. Has to be said though, 2011 was one of the worst calendar years in for us in the last 20 - probably the worst.

It can be disputed Jayram. Power shift means overhauling 17 years of finishing below us, one season of champions league football versus our 14 consecutive years. 13 league titles to their 2 . . the list goes on

A six month purple patch is not a Power Shift <ok>

  11. To be fair they had got closer to us for years - the were slowly closing the gap and finally completed the job through 2011. I think it was a 4 year process, a combination of Spurs getting better, and us declining slowly. It is nothing to do with a 6 month purple patch - its been happening for 4 years.

I am very hopeful that now we have grabbed the initiative back, we can maintain our form and start pulling away again.

The logic of them having to catch up our historical record to claim superiority is just plain silly.

If we won the league, CL, FA Cup, and League Cup next year, would that make us still worse than Utd, or would we be top dogs???

No it's not, it's wholly valid. Arsenal are the dominant force in North London, Spurs need more than 4 years of 'catching up' or six months of being above us in the table to 'complete a power shift'

    HIAG
he honestly believes such managers would even consider his team as their next project. They would be lucky to get someone like Nigel Clough <rofl>

The fact HIAG truely believes Spuds could afford Mourinho is one of the funniest things I've heard from him.
