Karthikeyan did nothing wrong against Button, and my first impression (I've only seen it once and am happy to look again if shown the incident) is that he was penalised against Vettel for not being as slow as the World Champion expected.

Not only that, Seb "the finger" Vettel blatantly call him stupid when being interviewed after the race. Karthikeyan is not my cup of tea but didn't Vettel went over the line with that?

I overlooked Kimi today in my awards, great job from a driver out of F1 and fresh back, well done to the IceMan!

Hi F1! Welcome to the forum!
    :)

Now, this is an F1 forum. Obviously you know that since you have the most perfect pseudonym: such an excellent choice it makes me wonder why I've never seen it in any forum in any country!

I'd like to respectfully point out that this is not a forum to talk about football or slag off other members with such disrespectful comments, for any reason whatsoever; but particularly when such an attack is based on matters with no relevance to the subject of the thread, or indeed the subject of the whole forum!

This is F1. Please stick to it and I'm sure your contributions will be read with interest.

All I'll say on the matter is that Rosberg is confirming my first impressions, and now wonder if Mercedes actually had a car capable of winnig a GP in 2010, just not the driver.

Alonso was there for the taking, yet Perez failed miserably. Even Massa would have gotten the job done in that situation.

    Alonso - 10 full years in F1/ Age 31...ish!
    Perez - 1 Full year in F1/ Age 22

Im not seeing a problem when he went up against Alonso today.

Look, sorry, but we have our views on drivers. I just do not rate Sergio Perez as highly as others do. I have no issues with him, he seems a nice enough person, i just think he's a one trick pony.

Last time out he won a strategic victory (the one-stopper), this time out he went out and hunted down a double world champion - twice - in different sets of conditions no less, until he was asked to take it easy and made an error. After which, I might point out, he STILL continued to lap faster than Alonso.
Sorry mate but this just smacks of hatred for the sake of it.

    Pretty much my view Miggins.
I never doubted Rosberg's speed as a youngster but similarly I've never been convinced about his fighting spirit as an adult, which is why he's been regarded as something of an enigma since graduating from puberty. The longer this goes on, the more he seems to confirm the doubts.

I'm trying to think who Rosberg's career trajectory seems to remind me of. Maybe Frentzen?

    • Best Driver: Tough one, struggling to decide between Alonso and Perez
    • Worst Driver: Massa - Seemed reckless at times to me
    • Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Vergne
    • Best Team: McLaren did a brilliant job, things just didn't work out for them
    • Worst Team: HRT - way way off the pace
    • Best Overtake: Can't really think of any. Anyone who got past Massa without contact deserves a medal (as you can guess Massa didn't impress me today)
    • Funniest-moment: Hearing how please Ferrari were hehe
    • Most Surprising Result: A Ferrari, Sauber (McLaren) podium!
    • Least Surprising Result: A McLaren on the podium?
    • Special Mention to: Both FI's in the points
    • Race Rating: 8/10
    • Best Commentator overall: Had it on quietly in the bedroom so probably missed most of it
