Hatem Ben Arfa is the kind of player you pay to watch. Hit and miss he can be, but today he was sensational. It's an odd time of the season, Toppy's team have very little to play for bar pride and not too many footballers seem to care all too much about that anymore.

Brilliant day, from start to end. The day included a 16/1 winning bet on the F1, 90 minutes of jumping up and down and plenty of alcohol and also banter with the Swindon fans on the train!!! Only way it would have got better was if the referee hadn't ruled out a perfectly fair Jack Lester goal in the first half <laugh> I might have backed him on the first scorer market!

Was that the price for the first hour to be like watching paint dry in Manchester?

Ruthless on the break today mate- Pardew got it tactically spot on against us- again he is really earning his managerial fee, think he's been a terrific breath of fresh air on Tyneside, even if he wasnt the fans original choice.

Cracking pair of strikers and Ben Arfa in that sort of role is excellent- reminds me of a young Rafael Van Der Vaart.

As I now have the system built for it I'd be quite happy to administer it. As long as Tam doesn't mind as it was his idea on the NH.

Okay Ron, if we can get one arranged for before the 2000 Guineas I think that would be a fair shout? Obviously there is some racing before then but maybe it would be a rush to get things ready for the Lincoln- What do you think?

RV- regards to Twirl- you are right, a lot of AOBs horses are undercooked and they improve through the year. St Nicholas Abbey was one last year- he was given a little run out when beaten at 1/3 fav on reappearance but then sprung into life for Chester, going on to be 3rd in the King George and a Breeders Cup Turf winner. I think Camelot and I think one called Kissable (might not be called that!) will be two very smart fillies.
