we end the season in the top 10 just missing out on Europe and Short comes to you and says he will back you with 30m aswell as money from out going players what would you do?

(just abit of fun to make the day pass)

    Personally

    Out

    Marcos Angeleri 1m
    Nyron Nosworthy 500k
    Matt Kilgallon 750k
    George McCartney 750k
    Christian Riveros 1.5m
Jordon Henderson 16m (please dont turn this into a keep/sell Jordan article)

    = 20.5m (50.5m)

    In

    Nedum Onuoha 5.5m
    John Mensah 3.5m
    Taye Taiwo free agent
    Sully Muntari 7m
    Ever Banega 7.5m
    Charles N'Zogbia 7m
    Edinson Cavani 20m
    Danny Welbeck loan

we have already got Elmohamady so no need to add him

i wouldnt buy ever banega, he seemed to have alot of potential a while ago but hasnt shone at At.madrid i think it is? I think the mensah deal is like 6million but i would sign the others who you have listed, maybe Cavani is abit too ambitious as if we bidded old saggy face would bid.

I dont think anyone would buy Nosworthy, hes a joke!
I would sell reid and Colback also

I'd look at the cost of rhinoplasty.

Still can't get over that terminology. You know you have a problem with your nose. Do they have to re-iterate it?

Beats me mate, he's got to have millions in the bank and he's still walking round like Ali's punchbag. You'd think he'd have it sorted wouldn't you?

    Disagree about Ever Banega mate

He came to Valencia (my second team) from Boca Juniors and struggled at the start they even sent him onloan to Atletico Madrid. At Atletico though he was one of the regulars and came into his own during his season there.

I aint sure if it was Unai Emery who sent him out onloan or not but when he came back the talk was he would be gone, he was not favoured by the new manager but with injuries in the squad Banega got his chance and since then has been one of Valencia's best players IMO I watch them on sky when I can and when Banega plays (the manager likes to rotate everyposition) him and Tino Costa a fellow Argentine are briliant in the midfield they can certainly pick a pass.

Palermo/Napoli said they want £90m for Cavani. While I recognise that's ridiculous I still don't think 20 would get him.

Agree with ALL of the outs, although I'd be tempted to take less than 16m for Henderson, on current form anyway (the form he's been in since before christmas).

Dont think we'll get Onouha, and if we do, not for that cheap for such a versatile player.
Mensah, I have to say no. Too injury prone, brilliant defender, but we can't carry on carrying the player for me.
Muntari I disagree with. Spoke a lot about him after the Liverpool game, not looking anything like the player he was at Pompey, but IMO he's been carrying the CM with Henderson being so poor. Maybe with Catts back we will see him shine, reserve judgement until seasons close.
    Banega. Never
N'Zog. This will never ever happen. Its been going on for four transfer windows man. People need to get over this player, he's a whining brat!
Cavani? Interesting, never thought he'd be the type of player Brucey would go after.
    Welbeck AGREE.

The N'zog deal is a cert and will be a very good deal for us, we would do well to get half of poolies valuation for Henderson and if offered I would take it the most over rated player in the prem this year

think he's just put a few quid on, an u-21 goal, hopefully confidence is back and plays great till the end of the season, then see how many of you want him gone

ive got a few players i'd like to see, hutton, downing, kuyt to name a few, but no matter who it is i just hope its no more african lads, this obsession with them will cost us dearly come jan. surely there's talent in uk or europe. although bruce has done well in the past in s. america things at safc havn't turned out for them.

Last nights goal does not get away from the fact that Jordan Henderson has been very poor since christmas in fact you can count his good games all season on 1 hand. My only think Bruce has done wrong is not dropping the kid when he needed to

  15. Let's wait until the season ends before we speculate about investment for next season. I personally would like a consistent team and performance week in and week out in the 30 years I have supported the lads but I'm still waiting so you buggers wanting miracles can join the queue..<whistle>:emoticon-0105-wink:
