Perez hauling Alonso in and getting oh so close. I'm glad Alonso won it but Perez made the victory very exciting.
It was a great performance by Perez, but sadly the most memorable "moment" from that battle was Perez's mistake.
Ferrari, for proving that their team orders even work on other teams drivers. P.S. I'm being sarcastic, stop being mean to me
The Champagne was ready but unfortunately the cork is still in place. Although I understand the reason for it, I disagree with the cautionary radio call. Without it, I believe he easily had the pace to get within 1 second of Alonso and then have 5 laps of DRS opportunity to breeze past on the have a cup of tea straight. I think it unlikely Sauber will get a better opportunity to win a Grand Prix. Yes, the points were very very valuable Peter; however, in my opinion you called your man off the case too soon. Are you really that concerned about remaining supine to your engine supplier that you wanted a joint celebration? P.S. I'll add my 'Champagne moment' in another post. After all, Champagne should never be diluted!
I'm also glad Alonso won but with 5 laps to go I wanted Perez to finish to job. He will have more chances, but tonight's biggest's smile is the Mexican's - 2nd place champagne but champagne nonetheless
Champagne to Domenicali for supporting Massa publicly. I think people are a bit too hard on him. He was outperforming Räikkönen at times when they both were at Ferrari. People should consider that Ferrari currently have an extremely difficult and poor performing car and it might just be Alonso being brilliant rather than Massa being terrible. I personally believe that whoever replaces Massa will be equally outperformed by Alonso. But we shall see Also Champagne to Button for his post race interview. Despite a terrible race and making mistakes, he was cheerful and showed maturity by admitting his mistake against Karthikeyan. We can all imagine(or know) how some other drivers(no names needed) would have handled it. Button is a great sport and have my fullest support even if I do not hold him as my favourite driver.
Oh come on, that one was a joke. Unfortunately, it's hard to convey sarcasm using the internet. Perez fluffed it on his own, ferrari wouldn't need to help him.
My real champagne moment today was Bruno Senna making me look like a real pillock, by giving a drive his uncle would have been proud of. And to think, a few days ago i stated he should be immediately replaced by Sutil/Alguersuari.
I think it's because Button just seems to be a thoroughly decent bloke. Plus he's established himself for McLaren now, he's the 1st team mate to ever beat Hamilton, he must feel there's a weight off him now.
Thank you. Means a lot coming from you as we not always see eye to eye on things! Champagne to you for this Kyle. Last week I almost put you on ignore, thinking you were ONLY about bashing and "dissing" people for the fun of it and. But this proves that your opinion was real and you are open minded/mature enough to re-evaluate you views. I am NOT saying it because it is about Senna as one might suspect, I rather just like that quality in people!
Do you think he would have behaved otherwise should he not had success in McLaren? I am not so sure, I have always seen Button like this. Though I have to admit I do not remember much of his pre Brawn interview as I used to be watching the Swedish coverage who tends to show less of Brittish drivers.
I am a master at making myself look like a prat. When Pastor Maldonado wins the Monaco GP i will look this; please log in to view this image
