Goals against, Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea. 2nd top scoring English striker in the Prem. Yep we'll probably finish in the bottom half of the prem and you'll finish in the bottom half of the Championship. Sucks to be a town fan these days. Ask yourself honestly, if you were in our position and had Holt in your squad, a striker that has scored 67 goals in under 3 seasons and destroyed your scummy rivals on national TV would he not be a legend for you? Good night.
Marcus Stewart Highest English goal scorer in the premier league in 00/01 and second leading goal scorer overall in a team that finished 5th and qualified for Europe. I hope England do select Holt for the Euro's, I could do with a bloody good The French will be ****ting themselves!
Bringing up history is an admission that you have no argument. I'll call that sweet victory, your tears taste nice Sent from HTC Sensation XE
Just giving you an example of a what a true legend is! Hardly an admission of defeat. Just goes to show how deluded you are if you think that Holt is good enough for England.
I'd suggest it's not so much that Holt is good enough for England, but that England are currently under-performing enough for Holt to do a job.
A note of moderation to all Norwich supporters! Please stop teasing our Ipswich friends, it's not very nice when we're so much better, to keep rubbing it in like that! After all, you never know, in about 30 or 40 years time, they might have caught us up, so let's not give them any cause for retaliation!
But Dave, we have to give them something to aspire too! If we can show them what a good manager, dedicated players, proper genuine fans, and sound finances can do for a club, maybe they'll be more interested in trying to get some of these things in the future!
Embarrassing isn't it. But it's all they have plus their lovely new turnstiles... Sent from HTC Sensation XE
Ha! Ha! Loving it, the sheer jealousy! You Town fans would love a player like Holt instead of the washed up has been's that you have on your books, you just haven't got the balls to admit it. Tell me Town fan's how does it feel to know that your club settled gambling debts of 250K for Chops? It must really chap your arse's because it would mine. Fancy doing something like that, mind you I doubt its for the first time..... Also, how much is Bullard earning? 20-40k a week? Ha! Ha! "what a waste of money"! Another piece of sound business sense for your inept chairman and club. Those turnstiles are really nice though, something to be proud of I suppose.
Mr F1 of course he wouldn't get near our Hall of Fame! I know you lot'll throw any ole tripe in there but ours is reserved for legends... Now then Mr Kemp I believe you may find this Primary School resource handy http://www.primaryresources.co.uk/online/apostrophes.htm
I must admit, like a lot of other posters' apostrophes, they are not all grammatically correct! This, however, is a football forum, not an English examination! I can understand perfectly the meaning of Kemp's post, as, I am sure, can you! It's extraodinary the lengths you will go to to try and deflect the glare of having no obvious sensible reply!
Is that all you got Hamps? Hard to argue with the truth. I really want to know how you guys feel about paying Chop's debt off?
Look at his post when he's having a go at Kemp's grammar. No comma's after the names, and what the **** is lot'll?!?! EDIT - after reading Hampy's post again, I can say with some certainty, he made those mistakes on purpose - the whole post from start to finish is terribly written. I am also guilty of grammatical errors, but as has been said, this is a football forum, so who cares.
Lot'll is perfectly fine Carra, as spoken 'lot will'. Of course it's a football forum and no-one is too bothered about grammar, that's writing styles for you - it needn't always be formal... but there does come a point where the abuse of apostrophes makes the post unpleasant to read... IMO
