    Williamson would struggle in the championship, our strenght in depth is shocking but hey thats ashley for you its not that we have been crying out for a cb for years.

    Well, I hope you're not blaming him for the goal. There was clearly a lack of a shout from Krul and therefore Williamson didn't know whether to stick or twist.

    Krul must add a bit of decisiveness to his game.

    If Tiote is back for the Liverpool game, id be tempted to play him at cb along with Williamson.

    His hamstring has gone which usually means 3 weeks min. Thats really bad timing for us. Hopefully Tiote will play like a man possessed these last few games

    Was gonna post an article, but I don't want be accused to attention seeking.

    Just a quick post to ask does anyone else have a real proud feeling right now?

    Today we showed what could be the future of Newcastle United. Quick, attacking football, 4-3-3, playing across the ground. This is the sort of football we want to play, because we need to move on from hoofball, as we do not have the strikers for that anymore, unless we want to go back to playing Shola and Best. Ba and Cisse are technical on the ground, but not great at winning things in the air really.

    We've seen for a couple of months or so that Pardew is try to make us play controlled, technical football on the ground, and it's starting to come together nicely.

    A good attacking trio up front, and a sturdy 3 midfielders behind them.

    What's good about our front 3 is that they can rotate and swap around, so not only can we rapidly attack defenses with pace, power and technical football, but also switch around so defenses cannot settle and work out our play like the did with our old 4-4-2 systems.

    I'd like to see this in the future -

    Ba----------Cisse----------HBA

    ---Jonas-----------Cabaye-----

    ------------Tiote--------------

    New LB---Colo-----Saylor---Santon

    --------------Krul-----------

    What I noticed today was all our players work rate and will to track back and do a job. Even HBA was tracking back often. He's maturing and turning into the part of our jigsaw, rather than bright spark that wanders by himself.
