Mr Ghilas is having a very good season in Ligue 2 for Stade De Reims and is now the top scorer in the French Ligue 2 with 13 goals. He will be in his final season of his contract next year, so how much could we sell him for? If Reims get promotion to Ligue 1 surely they would shell out £500K for him.
**** all, in order to massage his own ego, AP has ran him down in the press to the point it will be impossible to get a fee for him. He'll probably "breach his contract" in the summer.
To compensate for the wages they'd have to cover for we'd have to scale the fee down to either free or nominal. £150k?
On his wages I don't see us hanging onto him unless there is literally not a single offer on the table.
OK, explain why Brownie never picked him then if he was so good, surely your hero can't have got it wrong about him? All AP's fault is it? Keep taking the meds!
Either you don't read my posts or you're even thicker than I thought. At no point in that post did I say he was any good and should be playing for us (in all honesty, I've forgotten what he's like it's been that long), I'm just saying if you want to sell a player saying something like "He's French League 1 standard and that's all he'll ever be" isn't a very good sales pitch. AP put making himself look good in front of the club's interests. As he always does.
I notice you start on the insults when you have no response, obviously I must be thick to point out the utter bullshit you write on here. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
You're making up what I'm saying though, so you're only pointing out what you've made up in the first place.
I just watched highlights of Reims last 5/6 games on their youtube page and Ghilas looks fantastic. Creating and scoring goals whilst chasing the ball down, I even saw him win a header that led to a goal! Then again, I remember watching the youtube clips when we first signed him and thinking he'd be fantastic. Perhaps the defending in the French 2nd tier is poor. I think if Ghilas wanted to still be at City he could've been. In pre-season he looked like couldn't care less and wanted out, if he'd put in the effort he is at Reims we may have thought twice about loaning him out, as we're still paying the vast majority of his wages.
http://www.thisishullandeastriding....-glad-France/story-13697082-detail/story.html I'm not sure if you're doing this on purpose or as I said before, you're thicker than I thought. If you had a car that you wanted to sell, would you start the selling process by saying "This is a bit ****, and I'm desperate to get rid of it"? I'm still at a loss as to why AP has God-like status, it's like he's just taking the piss at times.
He never said anything of the sort Thatcher, TWF has some sort of bizarre agenda against Pearson, and has somehow linked that here onto Ghilas. I used to call him Son of Duffen and maybe this isn't far off the truth.
If you a car that didn't work very well, one that still had outstanding HP payments of £20k a week for the next year, it wouldn't really matter what you said about it, it would still be worth **** all. The real reason we couldn't get rid of him, is because some clueless **** gave him a long contract on two or three times the wage he was worth.
