My high odds prediction(wishlist): 1. Schumacher 2. Räikkönen 3. Senna 4. Button 5. Alonso 6. Rosberg 7. Webber 8. Vettel 9. Hamilton 10. Massa And if this happens I will go play the lottery
Wish list! But seriously if it rains I think he will excel! Podium and beating the Mclarens is pretty damn far fetched though I agree.
Since we're playing in lalaland, then, as a one-off never-to-be-repeated wishlist, for today only: I'd like to see Schumacher win, too.
Probably because I am a huge fan that I see it like this but he was Very unlucky in the first race being hit by others twice. His pace was pretty damn good running low on the hard tires until his second get together with Massa. This weekend he missed out on the whole of FP1(was given to third driver) Which had him play catchup so far, and he is only 3 tenths of Maldo after quali. Biggest impression he made on me since he started F1 was during the Belgian 2011 Qualify, when he new in the team, during damp/mixed conditions, qualified in 7th 1.2 seconds ahead of his team mate. Gave me goosebumps remembering Ayrton at Donnington 1993, and Ayrton at Monaco 1984.
Haha - if you read the Concorde Agreement thread you might discern why. I think now is the time to introduce 'Not Safe For Cosi' tags.
I get your point, but he'll have a hard time convincing people with excuses this time as they won't be as forgiving- true Bottas is stealing him of valuable practice, but unfortunately most people will simply say he has to be thankful for the opportunity of a full time drive and simply must prove his worth. I don't know why, but he always seems to be extremely unlucky in the race- it was frustrating to watch him race in the Lotus last year. Too bad for him, but if this keeps going on, he'll have to bow out. I hope he's able to turn that around
Lotus must've got the fridge working. They've just handed out Magnums in the press room. please log in to view this image
Yes I can't keep making excuses forever either, though I will wait a bit more before I judge and lose hope. Keeping in mind he had a 10 year break of ALL racing after Ayrton died, I think it is a pretty damn good achievement of him to be where he is today. Here is an extremely good read, have you missed it:
Woooo That's awesome! The Iceman is going to kick ass today! omg Is that for real or is it a hoaks? If this really happened it is absolutely brilliant!
I'm up yawning - a disturbed night as grandsons are here...... Will I get to see the race or spend the time sorting out brotherly love!
@Chrispa Thanks for the article mate- it's an interesting read, but things really need to turn around at this point...
