Hope you now realise that if you're in the box, thats where the goal is.
    Not brain surgery is it?
You want to be a top striker that's where you need to be!
Please keep making the effort to get in there more often! <ok>

Better day at the office all round. :)

McClean once again immense and finally Bendtner was in for one of those great crosses.
    MOTM for me again Jimbo!

Welcome back Sess. :) You have been sorely missed.
Played very well as usual, but just shaded by McClean.

Colback was the difference in MF today, unlike Vaughan against Blackburn, he was harrying and not giving them a chance to settle. Even had a couple of chances up front too.

Any long balls toward our box I never felt worried whilst the Greek was central, his heading was brilliant!

Turner could have again cost us, quite a few times again today.
The free kicks he was giving away would have made a big difference against better teams. (He really isn't a very good footballer.)

I was dissappointed with the effort against Blackburn, couldn't fault the effort today.
I knew MON wouldn't stand for another game like that.

Nice to have so many Sunderland players comfortable on the ball under pressure.
I can't remember having this many ball players in a Sunderland team ever. :)
We now have more footballers than water carriers. :p

The futures bright, the futures Red and White!

"We now have more footballers than water carriers."

    Ain't that the truth.
As Syd I think it was said last week this going into games expecting a win just feels odd...I'm liking odd.

was great to see Sess back in the side, I think we need another player in the summer who is magical like Sess they would create havoc

I have to say when Sess signed I was more excited about him over Gyan or over Bent or Cisse further back because the lad is technically fantastic probably the best I have seen at SAFC

It was notable, particularly first half. that Mig gave the ball to the Greek to play out rather than hoof it and it was good to see.

We also adapted well to O'Shea's injury so a very good day.

I honestly can't remember the last time I was so buoyant about SAFC.
We had some great times under Reidy, but something just seems special this time.
My best times have been 73 and Quinn and Phillips.

I just think MON is going to take SAFC to that next level, of stability in the top half of the Prem.

Spot on Syd, methinks it looked like MON's orders, as he only hoofed it when he had no other option.

Even though we played bad on Tuesday you just knew it would be sorted for today.

Can't wait to see Gardners free-kick too.
I had 3 separate streams going and still missed it, I'm sure by the noise it wacked the woodwork like an exocet though.

I agree with that Assessment to MR, the new Greek lad looks the part which is encouraging. It looks like he wants to take his chance.

I have been having a dig at Bendtner for ages but today he put a decent shift in. As you say if he busts a gut to get into the box he will get his rewards.

Colback was class again today, the lad works really hard but is starting to add extra craft to his game too. I am sure he will start to get a few more goals soon too. To be quite honest I think he has become a better player than Henderson now.

Totally agree about Colback and the Greek Vegas. <ok>

We can all see Nick has skill and can do the job of CF.
None of us can understand his lack of effort to get into positions to hurt the opposition!
Much better today from him, heres hoping the young man steps up to the plate the next few games, we need that little bit more from him over the coming weeks.

A lot of people turned their noses up when we signed the Greek and Bridge, but they've both looked like solid additions so far.

Just think what MON could do in the summer with money!

    £4 million for Bendtner?

I'd pay it, definite signs of worth last few weeks.

Absolutely agree that he needs to get in the box more, but that can easily be coached into him.
