    I've always thought Crouch is better on the ground than in the air - he's got great control. And his long legs help him keep the ball away from defenders.

    Probably afraid he'd give SAF more ammo with which to shoot him down.

    I notice Tevez came off the bench ten minutes later today, despite being fitter than midweek and City going a goal down at roughly the same stage in the match. Maybe Mancini didn't want to appear desperate? <laugh> SAF wins another one <ok>

    well done stoke, mighty performance, only didnt get all 3 points by virtue of a lucky deflection. britannia is a fortress this season.
