I'm very much sitting on the fence at the moment. But I'm swaying towards stepping down at the end of the season, purely for himself. This can be a cruel job and I'd hate to think that this tricky spell as manager will leave a sour taste in his mouth. So yeah, if he did manage to win the F.A. cup, maybe he should just for himself. I still think he's a good manager, maybe he's just been a tad naive in the way he's handled certain things and perhaps the transfer market. And if he stayed on for another year, I wouldn't be upset and I'd get fully behind him to take us back in to the top four. He just needs to be able to learn from his mistakes, and he's experienced enough to do so.
Depends: If Kenny wants to step down and is offered another position at the club and if we have someone in mind who is a perfect fit, then I'd be fine with it. However I dont think that we should be sacking another manager so soon, we dont want to turn into Chavski. However, I no longer feel that Kenny is the man to take us to the title or CL. I now see him more as the safe hands that were needed after the H&G regime.
In my heart I know that kenny isn't the one to take us above 4th. I do think given time he can scrape us into CL but beyond that then what? I don't see him as the great tactition Rafa was in Europe and I can't see him one day getting us the title. My ideal would be for him to form a 3 way management, him, steve clark and a new manager, perhaps rafa? That way kenny can deal with all the man management .
I don't want him sacked but I feel if we get the fa cup he should step aside with an almost mission complete , 2 trophies and the team stabilised. I think everyone has great respect for the King but he isn't the manager he was 25 years ago.
A three way management would only work if there is a clear and definite Boss! You cannot have three bosses! Kenny for his man management? Are you serious? He messed up with Suarez IMO so I wouldn't put him anywhere near that job. Look he is a legend as a player to all of us fans so he does not need to prove himself.
By 3 way I obviously meant a manager with 2 vice managers below. I do think KK's a good man manager, why would you suggest otherwise?
I think he is not. You would expect the players to do better for him. Example: Suarez disobeyed him at OT. A good man manager would be someone the players would not want to cross, like Mourinho, Benitez, guardiola, Ferguson, Wenger.
What exactly does man management have to do with the Suarez saga? The only thing that was lacking there was public relations, which is nothing to do with man management. Unless you're a bit slow, that is.
Suarez always says in his interviews how much Kenny boosts his confidence, and let's face it, Benitez wasn't a very good man manager. (Except for some of the Spanish players perhaps)
I think you are the one who is slow. Suarez in my opinion should have done what Kenny told him to do.
Oh, like when Rooney (managed by Ferguson BTW) went out on a night out just recently and had to be disciplined by the club? Benitez who's players made funny faces at his baffling substitutions and made radio interviews criticising his management and the fact he wasn't picking him for the team? EVERY manager will get players disobeying him at one point or other, its how you react to it and publically show you are in charge which shows how good your man management is, by getting Suarez to apologise straight away showed excellent man management skills by Kenny.

Ah but that is exactly what Kenny didn't do with Suarez. A swift apology would have defused the whole situation. Instead we had it dragged out of him for days under pressure. Also the players do not seem to perform for him.
well suarez disobeyed kenny,he made kenny look like a clown. he promised kenny he'd shake evras hand,and then didnt. i cant stand suarez and the bs excuse he made after racially abusing evra. im from uruguay,i dont know what racism is,,,yeah right.
