    Managers like McCleish should be hounded out of football - one tactic, kick the **** out of the opposition. Didnt work today, we were up for it and bullied them in midfield.

    Gotta say that reminded me more of the old Arsenal.

    Van Persie was the Bergkamp, Walcott the Henry, Song the Petit. Walcott's control and finish especially reminded me of Henry.

    Agree. Lucky that none of our players got hurt. The foul by Collins in the end summed it. There no need but he fouled Arteta for the sake of it and just because he can.

    Looks like Mcleish has consolidated Villa into Birminghams old role in the Premier League: marginally clear of relegation by virtue of skill-less physical football (the Alladyce Doctrine)
