what a heap of crap. I'm all for gradual transition but finishing this season considerably worse than last season having spent a lot of cash doesn't seem like a step forward to me

We're not playing to bad, just need to quicken up our passing a bit. The first half was a bit typical of our season, dominant and then gave away a silly penalty. Downing and Suarez look our main threats at the moment, certainly a long way to go yet. Roll on the second half.

Not playing well and I am not happy with what I have seen so far but it certainly isn't the worst performance this season that some are claiming #shortmemories Kenny needs to wake them up. We need to push forward and play with two up front (one up front at home????) so Suarez has some support, I'd even be tempted to go 433 and really push Wigan back. Not sure Carroll is they way to go, as soon as he comes on we will stop crossing the fricking ball! For now, I'd leave the same eleven on the pitch but switch it about slightly, push Kuyt and Downing up alongside Saurez, pull Henderson in alongside Spearing and let Gerrard do is stuff inbetween. That was awful. Hopefully we buy players with some intelligence and creativity in the summer. Once we get near their box we've just been lumping the ball into the box to no-one in particular. Suarez hasn't been at his best but at least he's trying to get us to play decent football.
Well.. Even if we are playing at our best we'd still lose. We're not playing as bad as you're making out though, what we're lacking is some quality in the final pass at the moment.
Suarez not at his best = still our best player He is isolated, and likes to pick the ball from deep (maybe he has no other choice of getting the ball) which means our lone striker isn't in the box! No adventure, no bodies in the box - lack of goals. Can't afford to lose another game, shocking form.
Never, I'd rather watch us lose playing Kenny's way than win Woy's style. Well, maybe not, but you get what I'm saying...
Well we can TBH, we've got Europe in the bag and only but the most optimistic/deluded would say we have a chance for top 4 still. To rephrase, "Kenny can't afford to lose another game". I don't think FSG will be overly thrilled with this season.
