Just hope he is fit to play, really need his creativity out there... http://www.clubcall.com/queens-park-rangers/hughes-to-check-on-midfielder-1401559.html
To be fair spending a whole load of money hasn't exactly helped us though, not sure a few extra quid would make that much difference. Got endless time for Taraabt, would love to see him score even just once this season
I really think he is vital to us at the moment. He set up the first goal on Weds and started the move for the second. His attitude when he looses the ball these days has improved no end, I saw him on more than one occasion race back to help out the defence. He just needs a goal or two now and those crazy prices that were slapped on him at the beginning of the season will be back!
Reckon he's coming to terms with the fact that the passing game is doing more for him than trying to dribble through these prem defenders - especially the long, telling passes he's more than capable of. His fitness is an ongoing concern because he needs to be out there week in week out. Really hope he plays tomorrow and got him down to smack one in (again!).
His passing was brill on Weds night - great to see it again, live. I know I suffer from the Adel rose color glasses but his input against 'Pool was superb. MUST play on Saturday!
A must start for us, easily our most creative player and continuing to improve! Genius and a joy to watch!
Adel just got better and better on Wednesday. If the game went on for another 5 minutes he would of got the fourth.
True, Liverpool were 'gone'... Adel is overdue a really big performance and a goal, today would be a great day to have it...
We have knocked some of our players on this site for consistently under-performing this season. Kenny, SWP and Barton to name but a few, have all come in for a lot of grief, and rightly so. Others like Derry and Mackie have emerged from the trenches and punched above their weight. Since he has come back from the ACON Adel has probably not got the credit that he is due. We all knew that he has bundles of talent but many here (including me) criticized him for his poor work-rate, lack of committment, lack of effort and general lack of interest while on the field. Adel for me has been a revelation since he returned from the ACON. His attitude has changed big time and nobody can now doubt his work-rate, which now matces many in the team. I always said that if he was willing to work as hard as the others then he simply had to start as he is without doubt our most gifted player. I have to admit i thought he would never adjust and buck himself up. I thought MH arriving would be another challange that he would fail to rise to. But, how i was wrong. This is one time when i am more than happy to admit that i was badly wrong about Adel. He is a gem. Our gem. If i met him, i would clap him on the back and try encourage him further. Regardless of if we stay up or not, the board, manager, players and supporters must do everything to keep this young man. Fair play to Col and the other who have regularly championed his cause. You guys were right all along. He must play.
