You wouldn't believe the calamity a few weeks ago when Middlesbrough came to Town and it was abandoned... the match was a special with tickets discounted by 25%. Several Town fans had been convinced to come back to watch a game...

but then it was abandoned in the first half... no refunds and we're charging the equivalent of the discount to watch the rearranged game! Middlesbrough are paying for their fans to come back down for free.

Whilst we're playing like this people don't mind paying 30 quid for a game but the trouble is we've been charging roughly the same price for four or five years and there's been not much quality in that time.

I think if Hogg plays tomorrow, I think he'll get his first goal for the club. Other than that, I think it could be a 2-1 either way. I wonder whether we'll find out who our new penalty taker is, considering we haven't been awarded any since Sordell left.

The big game is Coventry City v Portsmouth. If they draw and Doncaster manage to beat Southampton I think they really are in trouble of falling to Division 1.

Actually AK, you might find that Norwich are more than competition for Ipswich.

In the spirit of things, we'll ignore that comment...

Big win for us tomorrow, I can see us scoring 4 or 5, Chopra, JET, Martin...

Love to see Andy Drury get a hat trick, ex Luton lad that he is...

    Whereabouts is Varhaug?

I have another trip planned in April to Oslo, Skien, Kristiansand and ending up in Bergen!

I feel knackered just thinking about it! <yikes>

On a footballing related topic I would like to know what you think of young Scott Loach? As he is an Ipswich boy I have high hopes that one day he will play for us! We desperately need a good keeper and as he is a Town supporter I just hope that we can get him!

Oh now come on, tis only banter. You would do well to realise that the comment was made in jest and that it is factually true. Norwich are the closest competition for yourselves.

Haha. Nah, i think i will pass.

I think you will find that opinion is divided on him. A lot of us like the guy and think he will do well as he matures, but others cannot stomach him and think he makes far too many errors.

I am in the former of the two. I think that he does a good job considering that he is only a youngster, especially in keepers years. Its a shame that he gets so much abuse for what he does. I wish people would get behind him and give him their support so he can show us just how good he is.

Spurs wanted him last summer so he must be ok. They were supposed to have offered £3.5m. I think that a first bid from you of approx. £4.5m might get him, but be prepared to go higher if others come along.
