I expect Carey or macca will get the armband but i hope pearson or cisse get it as they have been the most consistant players of late with foster a close third

I have been seeing a lot of this Foster abuse on OTIB, got to say I think he has been decent enough until last tues and even then he wasn't the worst player out there!

Hang on! We were 2-0 down and they didn't bother our goal again.....why would they need to? 3 points were there for the taking and they did just that.
In the January sales there was nothing stopping him to take in loan players, didn't have to buy them unless they were that good and available.
I do question some of the decisions that Del makes but I would and have with a lot of managers, but I am unable to be positive to what I've witnessed so far, apart from the mini run we had where as it looked as if we were heading in the right direction.
We have been relying on other results & the Portsmouth deduction to keep our head above water, but you can only do that for so long.
I don't only see a problem with our defence (which is dire) but midfield (apart from Cisse) lacks creation and I'm not over excited regarding our forwards either. IMO Pitman should have had regular starts to build his confidence but that never happened. Cisse, Pitman & Pearson unless injured should be first on the team sheets.

I'm not going to get into an argument, but you just keep on believing your right and everyone is wrong.

2-0 up don't mean you stop playing, with 70 minutes on the clock Watford fans will tell you loads of teams have come back from that scoreline, oh wait we done it as well didn't we.

This is why Massive got pissed off with you, you won't listen to no one else!

To be fair, he's played in so many positions and been solid. Look at the goal he set up for John Stead against Cardiff, intelligent run behind the full back, collects the pass before looking up and picking out the player to score. He looks comfortable in possession and gets back into position well when we don't have the ball.

Re the abuse he's getting on OTIB.. It's one of the main reasons I don't post on there, the majority just seem to give in to complete hysteria and make out players to be world beaters one week then **** the other. I may not, and don't, agree with everyone's opinions on here but at least you can have a decent debate about it!

He's not been "consistently crap" by any stretch. and I have seen his pace when left with wingers at full back he has more than held his own.

I really hope the players, on loan or otherwise don't read any of these forums..

Why would you come here if you did, no one or nothing is good enough or given any time to settle, completely unrealistic expectations..

Sorry, I was just pondering our first team when all fit...

    James
    Skuse/Ribeiro - McManus - Fontaine - Foster
    Adomah - Cisse - Pearson - Ephraim
    Stead - Pitman

If these players were at this age and stage of their careers three/four years ago, that sort of side would have been challenging for promotion with good management. It shows the astonishing competitiveness and quality of the Championship and a multitude of other reasons that today it's probably a mid-table team. Enough to keep us up? I bloody hope so.

Steady as captain for me too - leads by example.

I've said it before and I'll say it again if we had 11 Jon Steads we would be comfortably safe by now

    I'd probably go for...

    James
    Skuse Fonts McManus Ribeiro
    Foster Cisse Pearson Ephraim
    Stead Pitman

Would hopefully be a bit tighter? I don't know how good Bikey/whatever his name now is will be or the guy from Cardiff. If Bikey is good then he should take Fontaine's place as hopefully a right footed commanding centre back.

Just been chatting to a Cardiff fan, asked him his opinion of Keinan

He don't know why he is not playing for Cardiff feels that something has happened between Delek and Malky. Only seen him between 6-10 times always looks a threat at corners and also scores a few! is a good defender and can't understand why they have loaned him to us, like he said before only Malky knows!

Hopefully he is like I was told

By the way, Bikey was arguably Burnley's best player in their Premiership year.

But that was two whole years ago. He could be **** now.

After watching him play at left back I thought city had made the wrong choice signing him as I prefer a natual attacking left back like when we have had players like Darren Barnard or Mickey Bell.

However since he has played right midfield for the last few games I do believe he is starting to put 'consistant' good performances in and has covered up and protected carey who has lost his legs

If we had eleven Jon Steads we would not be in the mess we are.

Good shout, the guy has given his all since his return.
