Isn't this what Mansell said as well? I think there was some late night discussion on Sky with Mansell, Hill and Murray Walker and Mansell said he had to organise the rest of his entire life so that everything was focused on winning the WDC in order to succeed. An exaggeration, probably, but the point is complications in your personal life will undoubtedly complicate a championship bid.

Didn't Senna divorce his wife because she took to much focus away from his racing? I couldn't quite shake the feeling that there's conflict between Nicole and Lewis' mum, their body language, the short tight smiles Nicole kept giving his mum whenever she saw a camera on them. I can imagine she's a bit of a diva, it's a shame JH isn't alive so he could teach him how to be a play-boy, I think he's too wound up.

Button is in the form of his career, and has been since Canada last year in my opinion. It's not surprising that he is going to be the main threat to the Red Bulls this year.

By contrast, I will not be surprised if Hamilton moves to Mercedes at the end of the year. Undoubtedly talented on his day (Abu Dhabi last year) but those days are few and far between it seems.

I noticed that too. It seemed like Jenson thought it was a bit of an unfair question. The people Button has around him are the result of who he is as a person and his family. It's totally out of his hands and beyond his influence. I get a different feeling from those that surround Hamilton. He has always been touted as the next big thing, ever since he was a kid driving karts. How many karters get on Blue Peter? Button, on the other hand, was just as successful in the lower formulae but ended up in the wilderness for years before a car befitting his talent came along. At Brawn he grabbed his opportunity, but had trouble getting over the line. This year he is a formidable opponent no matter who is in equal machinery, and I don't think Hamilton will be able to handle that pressure.

Hehe ehe mind games are working on you guys I see, Hamilton erratic? Well considering mof of his DNF or Penalties last season include Beinag Taken out by Button by at Aus, The Massa soap opera along with
camoes by Maldonaro and the Samuri pardon my spelling. It seemed to me at least that to cover up your own crappy driving all you had to do was smash your car into Hamilton and that not even including
the Shucmacher blocking for godd knows how many laps last season.

I think there's lot of hatred for lh becuase he was talke up as a the next Big Thing and then had the termerity to back up the talk with Talent! journey men like brundle , thats burns especially and for the likes
of cultard they dont think as brit he has put in enough hard yards. My god it was garanteed last season that if McNish was steweding that LH would be pinged for something and when Johhny Herbert was in charge
    he'd be left alone.

Well with a fast car now, button might get lucky once of twice, but I confidently predict Hamilton with rip him a new one, and with no mid field dross like massa to big themselves up by crashing into his car!

While I agree with much of what you say, fevirul, I do think you're seriously underestimating Button, who is, as tom-tom says, "in the form of his career". There are questions about Lewis's temperament, which I hope he'll answer over the course of this season, but there is indeed a lot of hate towards Lewis and last year was a gift to the haters, the envious and the invisible racists. He needs to answer back on the track, which is what I hope he'll do.

As for "midfield dross" Massa, it doesn't look like he'll be getting close to Lewis this year unless he's being lapped. I won't be able to look at Massa now without thinking "midfield dross", so thanks for that. ;)

Idiots predicted that Hamilton would rip Button a new one since before he joined McLaren. It didn't happen, and it won't happen this year either.

Is it possible for you to accept that Hamilton is infact human? He is not the second coming and he has weaknesses. It is also not always someone else's fault

Once you can accept that you might gain better insight.

I read the book a few years back about his life and I think they got divorced because he was always away driving and she didnt know english and didn't make any friends or something and wanted to go back to Brazil. They parted ways but I think she remarried a few years after.

That one wasn't for everyone, I suppose. MK-Ultra isn't something most F1 fans know too much about.

Yes he is human , and he does make mistakes like any other driver, LH does not however drive at least 10 times into another cars in one season , due to lack of skill or judgement. He is simply too good a driver to have that many crashes due to bad judgement, I mean at the end of last season, you just knew that is he was anywhere near massa, massa would hit his car FACT, it was so obvious people werent even surprised anymore.

It was a Free for all on Hamilton and it was so obvious it became embreassing tot he sport when even the press stopped ignoring it.
