Looked pretty good when you faced us, everyone was working hard, they all seemed well drilled. Webber was rusty, but I was still impressed with his running.
But now, when I look at you I'm so glad we scrapped that win, because you look poor, really poor. Has Warnock just worked the players into the ground, because to go from really tight to really ****e in a matter of days is just unforgivable when the play offs are in sight.
Frankly, I'm disappointed, I'd much rather see Leeds there than Cardiff, Brighton or Blackpool.
The points were nice, but you've let me down.

That's the thing, our first 11 can beat anyone in this league when they're on song. But that's it. We don't have any variety or a plan b. So our first 11 get overworked and end up leaking 7 goals. Cheers bates you money grabbing ****.

Lets be honest. weve got a squad that would have to play out of their skin every week to go up. and that aint possible

Anyone including fans, can see squad is weakest for past eight seasons. Of course Grayson or the heads buried in the sand supporters would never admit it. Warnock isn't afraid to speak his mind though. Actually looks like he's going to do something about it in the summer so that's promising. Here's to a new beginning and out with the dead weight players

I can't see Warnock could have made too many changes for Tuesday as many of the so called reserves are injured and it is all hindsight.. If he had made 3-4 changes and we had lost even 2-1 or 3-1 we would have been screaming why were the changes made, we would not have accepted tiredness as an excuse. If someone had turned round and said without the changes we risk conceding 7 we would think they were taking the piss.

So, where is Warnock gone get all this money to buy all these quality player? Do you think Bates is going to give him any money? And why do you think that the squad is the weakest in eight years? Did the money we got from selling player get reinvested in to the squad? And the signings Warnock has done so far hasn’t exactly put the world on fire has it? They are no better than the ones we already had.

Too many ****e players signed by Grayson,

Warnock has got the first team working as hard as they ever have it obviously took its toll and we dont have the players to replace them!

Warnock will sign his own players in the summer and he will get the ones that are left from graysons squad working hard on their fitness, this means snoddy n rossco will have to cut down on their drinking.

Except when Grayson acted on it rather than just talking and tried to get reinforcements... which led to his dismissal.

It's a horrifying state of affairs at Leeds. The worrying thing is that most of the problems aren't directly bates fault, giving him ammunition to criticise everybody. He's created this negative atmosphere. The fans are divided and will continue to be divided while he is there. When the fans are divided the atmosphere suffers. When the atmosphere suffers the players motivation suffers. The players are also probably concerned about their futures, with no stability in keeping hold of our best players, no desire to show the players we really want them at the club. The players don't know if they are even going to be offered a new contract, and are probably expecting to be forced out of the club to make a few quid. It's a horrible state of affairs and how the man is allowed to continue is beyond me.

Is the squad Grayson's fault?

I question this argument because we all know he was looking at players and had "irons in fires" but, when the contract talks commenced, the proposed transfer falls through. This happened time and again. And we know Grayson is NOT involved in the contract talks - Bates made it very clear he and Harvey were the ones who told players and their agents to go forth and multiply with their demands.

Grayson wanted to keep Beckford, Johnson, Kilkenny, Howson, Gradel but they all left because the club either did not show any ambition or did not offer them enough money in comparison to what the rest of the market could offer.

So Grayson starts looking again, now that his first and second choice players have all been turned down, or they refused to come. So he is looking at 3rd and 4th choice from his point of view, and bates is looking for "dead cheapo" from his point of view.

That's not to say that I am defending Grayson's ability to manage the players he has.

But I do question that the current squad is Grayson's. It's not, it's Bates's.

And Colin will have a worse problem - Bates has already indicated that there will be a new player policy. No idea what that means, but I strongly suspect it does not mean a change that leads to better fortunes.

The main problem we'll face is getting rid of the deadwood in the current squad before NW can bring anyone new in. We've not exactly got clubs hammering the door down for the likes of Paynter, Mika and co.

Completely agree with Marko, although Bates has been in 'government' long enough now that he can
no longer claim to have inherited a mess. Don't forget he got virtually all the debt wiped out in 1 fell
swoop by going into administration! I reckon i could have taken the club over with 50k in my bank acc
and done exactly the same as Bates has done. Lots of nice skimming of money from selling the clubs
best players, without even producing the figures for what he got for each individual player... No he
is culpable now make no mistake. After administration and having to pay no debts off he has no more
excuses for not investing in a strong and talented squad. Instead we have has been loanees and lots
of free transfers or very low money signings. 2 people i feel most sorry for are Grayson losing his job
after having to work on a shoe-string budget and Snodgrass who has had to carry the squad almost
single handedly ala Gerrard at Liverpool.

Snodgrass will be off to the prem in the summer. Who is left then for Ken Bates to sell? Clayton?
