Roy was sacked after 6ish months in charge having spent £0 of NESV's money. Kenny has spent the bones of £100m of NESV's cash and overseen a worse run of form than the foot in mouth maestro. Will NESV sit back and say in their best british impression " Hard luck old boy, better luck next year'' ? I doubt it.

As for Comolli he has to go too as I can't see any top manager wanting to come if they have to run things by him.

Rafa wouldn't, Mourinho wouldn't, AVB wouldn't, no manager who could take the club forward would agree to Damian being involved which would leave us looking at the likes of Ian Dowie , Fat Sam, Steve Fathead or David O'Leary <yikes>

    People need time.

Camolli has done well. He got us Suarez, that was his work. He has travelled europe to watch exciting players to. I remember Camolli cheering when Suarez scored on his debut.

Of course he cheered. If Suarez had turned out ****, he'd have been given a good grilling in the boardroom!

I left to wonder what Comolli is actually doing, when he was appointed he spent the next few months scouting Europe (particually France) to find young and unheard of talent that were going to make a positive improvement for the team and squad. Then Summer rolls round and we buy and bunch of players who have come from midtable Prem teams (even one who was relegated). Sounds like Comolli was wasting his time scouting, as no-one at the club seems to have done anything with his research.

Who made the final decision on the summer transfers? Kenny or Comolli?

realistically i can see them giving kenny one more season, the signs are positive in a lot of areas and we all knew deep down that it would take time to gel especially with half a new first team and coaching staff.
I think behind the scenes kenny knows what the deal is with where we have to strengthen and also getting the core of a new generation of players to wear the shirt with pride (kelly/shelvey/henderson/spearing/coates and even the likes of flannagan /sterling and suso).
J W Henry isnt a fool he knows whats going on, its quite like what they did with the redsox really.
have patience peeps it will all come good.........................I Hope lol

Comolli is no Graham Carr! If his task was to scout Europe then why buy Brits who are (for the most part) overrated? From this, I concur that Kenny is in charge! Comolli wouldn't scout all of Europe and then decide Downing is a better choice than Mata, who you enquired about I believe.

FSG's cash? No, this so called £100m was mostly raised from player sales (Torres, Babel & Meireles) plus the massive lowering of the wage bill (Cole, Poulsen, Meireles, Torres, Konchesky, Kyrgiakos) all off it for players on much lower wages.

<laugh> Carrick and Fletcher are not that brilliant I give you that! However they seem capable of stepping up to the plate at times.

    Torres £50
    Babel £5.8

    Total 55.8

    Carroll £35
    Suarez £25

    Total £60

Nett spend £4.2 added to Downing £20, Adam £7, Henderson £16, Coates £7.6, Enrique £5.5 , Bellamy £unknown signing on fee , Doni £unknown signing on fee

Not exactly £100m I'll give you that, but you brought wages into it so those 9 with their wages per contract included would easily top the 100 mark <ok>

Meireles was sold for 12, Ngog for 4, Poulsen for 1, Mavinga for 1, Konchesky for 1.5 (amazing, I know!), Bruna 750k and Ayala 800k.

    They're pretty accurate normally.

So yes, total spend was circum 110mill but we recouped about 77mill across the two windows also.

Haha lets all laugh at Liverpool.

Thanks for the 35m. That has helped us get ahead of you.

King Kenny is finally doing to you what he did to us many years ago.

That clown is getting exactly what he deserves

Read up, numbnuts. It was Chelsea's money which bough us Carroll. Don't give a **** how much Andy cost us, we made a profit.
