  1. You have a very stubborn tone around you mate, chill out.

All i'm saying is that we don't need top quality strikers, we just need prolific goal scorers. The only one we have at the moment is Best, and he's hardly top quality is he?
We don't need to pay through the nose for top quality players.

Our defense NEEDS strengthening mate, we concede too many sloppy goals. Take away the 6-0, 5-1 and 5-0 wins, and our GD doesn't look impressive at all. In fact, it looks pretty ****.

i agree fully with you, But you cant expect a striker to be excel at so many things all the times, 1 striker who is super fast and a great finishes, 1 who knows how to move around and hold the ball up and has a bit of flair with a good eye for a through ball is the perfect combo upfront for me, they dont have to proven european standard, they just have to be top quility young and hard working.

Agree with you(Tash) on the CB bit. I think Colo's been brilliant this season but I'm not convinced by Willo and Saylor's injury-prone. Samba would be perfect!

  4. Gervihno will most likely cost 20m, with reports of other clubs willing to pay 15 m. I don't think he's worth that much.
Gameiro looks good, but again, not worth a massive amount really. We need to spend our money carefully, not spend big and hope for success.

    im chilled out.

but we are going to have to pay a top price for a good striker anyway, every club in the world knows we sold the most expensive english striker.

our defence aint bad at all. most of our games we have conceded have been since we have lost carroll to injury.

So if our strikers are poor quality (bottom 5 quality overall), and our midfield is one of the leagues best (top ten anyway), we should play 2 up front and 4 in midfield, rather than 1 up front (the only one who knows how to score) and 5 in midfield? Horseshit.

We have 2 decent strikers, one of whom is Nile Ranger and he will not start because he is a dick off the field (doesnt stop half the England team) so if there is only one good striker, dont play 2, you might as well have one of us partner Best for all Lover and Shola offer.

NEW ST - Excellent pace, good finisher, good dribbler and comfortable on the ball.
NEW ST N.2 - Strong, quick(not necessarily in pace but more in reaction/movement/reading of the game), direct, skillful and good ability in the air.

In a ideal world obviously. Best is a hard-worker but isn't top-quality. Lover and Ameobi are past it, inconsistent, getting old and injury-prone(Shola).

I really dont see why ranger has not been giving his chance on the pitch
start him and see how he does. If he scores (whitch he is paid a lot of money to do) then great keep him in. Should he keep crashing and burning. sell him or release him.

There is no point in paying someone 20 grand a week to let them be late for training act like a gangsta and never let them start playing in a football match,

  10. We've not been blessed by good luck, but we can't hide the fact that defensive mistakes have lead to us losing quite a few games mate. Our defense isn't poor, but the amount of goals we've conceded is really quite alarming.

0-2 Blackpool (cheap penalty, and standing off the opposition allowing a shot on goal lead to the second goal)
1-2 Stoke (Not marking players properly, and an own goal)
2-2 Wigan (The smallest player on the pitch, 5ft 7, manages to win a header against two 6ft+ CB's)
1-2 Blackburn (Trying to play the ball out of play lead to first goal, CB's getting easily pushed aside lead to their winner)
1-1 Bolton (Over playing at the back and allow Sturridge a shot on goal too easily)
1-2 Everton (Allowing the opposition free runs into the box and standing off them could have seen us lose 1-5)
    0-4 Stoke (bollocks)

All these results could have been avoided!

I know that's exactly what I'm saying. His attitude still sounds better than half of the England squad...

    Have you even watched him?

He has the same goalscoring record at West Ham that Sturridge has at Bolton and you regularly jizz all over the prospect of getting him for 10-15million.

I'm going to assume that the name "Wise James" is ironic?
