I remember a few years ago there used to be a guy who wrote poems for the matchday programmes, they were always pretty good.
Sorry, but saw this early on and not had time to respond. 4 things been buzzing in my head: 1. The boy is great - encourage him 2. Saints should be encouraged to publish this in the programme to maybe inspire other kids to write 3. The teacher should be disciplined for not knowing Rickie Lambert 4. There is one poster with less heart than Joey/GG
Thanks for the feedback, I showed almost everyones comments to him and he was beaming. We might send it in, but I don't want not making it in to get him down. Anyway, I'm not sure of his English level (being the knowing brother I am ) but I know poems aren't everyones thing so I expected things like what NorthLondonSaint said. You've made his week, guys, thanks.
It's a young child! If anyone on here wrote and you wanted to have a dig then fine but come on?. Take it you don't have children? Are you a jaffa with a chip on his shoulder lol
I understand that he's young, and if he showed me this i would pretend that i really liked it and it was magnificent. But its not, and the 10 year old wont read what i am saying, Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I just really cant see how anyone could think its good, it has no rhythm, no rhyme and no meaning and is genuinely ****.
I have an idea! How about you do a poem and post it on a thread? Just for a bit of fun hell I might have a lame attempt myself!
Oh you were, very. I don't bother with the ignore button but make a mental note of those who display poor taste and attitude and you were definitely racist and then tried to dig out of it. 19 and out shone by a ten year olds poem.
