I take pleasure out of every other team in the league dropping points. Its part of being a football fan.

Each to their own I guess, but my concerns only lye with one club.

i don't care about other teams and how they do...i care about Watford and what's going on with our club. It's not about Cardiff, it's far more personal than that ;)

I caught up on The Apprentice too Dan, looks like a good series but i think he sacked the wrong person!

Think i'll turn in too, night night all, sweet dreams :)

MM is not held highly not because he went to a richer club or did not thank Watford for giving him his opportunity. It is because he took most of the back room staff, hijacked some transfer deals and you can not say another way he stopped Don Cowie signing a new contract so get DC for free.

Thanks for the frothy AK - much appreciated

I haqve been doing missionary work for years OFH and just cannot get them off of worshipping false idols - still they have put the missionary pot away at last <grin>

I have no issue with MM, I understand his reasons for leaving us, not many of us would turn down such a big pay rise. But it does not mean I cannot smile about Cardiff struggling to make the play-offs - they sacked Jones because he did not get them promoted, will they follow suit again?

I look at it this way, if Ipswich had lost last night we would have stayed 14th so I would have been happy if they had dropped points, but as they did not we have dropped a place.

Yeah he defo sacked the wrong person. At least the one he sacked was pro-active the one who survived just went along for the ride

did you see her on the You're Fired programme. She was obviously a great candidate..but she said, after watching the programme back she couldn't believe what she'd done, and that at the time, she couldn't hear anything, she was just desperate to protect her place on the show! lol...i really felt for her. She'd have been good value.

That Ricky Martin is sooo going to get on my nerves!

I was reading my book last night and in the text a comment was made about the height of the subject. He was 5 pied 8 pouces. I thought that this was short. Then I investigated, as a Frenchman at the time of Napoleon, what pieds and pouces were. Pied is foot and pouce is a twelfth part of a foot but the French pied was longer than an English foot. Doing mathematics 5 feet and 8 inches is 1,72m but 5 pieds 8 pouces is 1,84m. So the man was very big for his history period.

Yeah I was hoping Ipswich and Burnley would draw so we would have stayed 14th. I was on about all the gloating and bitterness with regards to MM and Cardiff though. I thought most Watford fans would have moved on by now??? Guess not. People talking like it is essential that we get more points than we did last season just so they can point the finger at MM and say " ner, ner, we did better under Dyche " just find it really childish TBH. I dont class it as banter either. This isn't all directed at you by the way, anyone so has this agenda really. You cant deny that a lot of Watford fans in general (not just on here) have very short memories.

I get your point and maybe it is childish. But i want us to finish higher for several reasons, one so that we are continuing to improve which has to be our goal. But yes so that we can say that we are better under Dychey. I have no hatred towards Boothroyd, or Rogers now, but i feel let down when someone just walks out with out saying thank you. Its just common courtesy and it takes no effort.

All this BR stuff is finished and the MM stuff will be next season, we will have something else to complain over. All things considered we have some hills and valleys as Watford supporters but nothing very extreme. I will say now there were the struggles against reelection and nearly winning the league but they were rare happenings.

For sure. You, me and every single Watford fan want us to finish as high as possible, that goes without saying. But purely to rub it in Malky's face (who probably couldn't care less anyway)??? And people acting like Cardiff are the new Luton Town???? Eh??? Not saying it's ' wrong ' I just cant get my head around it Dan. Why do Watford fans hold grudges for so long??? Take Rodgers as an example here. I went to Reading away in 2009 and I joined in with every anti Rodgers chant, but as soon as that final whistle blew I no longer had any issues with BR. I would have thought that this would have been the same case after our game with Cardiff this season, but I guess not.

Brendan Rodgers was with us for all of 7 months. Malky was a Watford player who helped us get promoted to the Prem, Aidy's no:2 and our manager for 2 years. But apparantly he's a scumbag because he left us without saying thanks??? The mentality behind that is a bit backwards IMO
