    Good Morning Everyone,

The last day of the emergency transfer window is upon us, and with a frantic day of (nothing probably) transfers not to happen, you can hear it first on 'not606'.

We want to hear all your rumours, any footballer sightings, we want to hear about them......

Cannot wait for the Leeds - Wall thread to start (is it going to be Iqbal of Enoch). Let the banter start here..... What team would you choose????

Season is screwed put some of the youngsters in, I know Gimple did not want to be considered for this season but surely now is the time to get a debut out of the way when nothing matters and agree with YWBK give Cairns a go, Warnock needs to look at some of next or future years talent.

Same ish team. Maybe a couple of changes is players are still looking tired. Lets not underestimate anyone after what Forrest done to us, and Millwall have had a few results against us as well.

Also Keogh is in fine form for them.

Think there will be goals again, 2-4 Leeds

    Morning all <ok>

    LOL Groundhog Day YWBK?

White will forever be covering the two carthorses to his right, leaving someone like Keogh acres of space to exploit down Leeds left flank.

We were playing our best football when we played with wing backs Doreigo and Sterland. McCartney for West Ham is a good example...

We had Batty that would anchor back then. Not to mention when in possesion our back four would be up near the half way line. Wilko had some balls <laugh>

Morning all. At least after Tuesday the mood seems to have lightened a bit.

Regretfully, I think our chances of the play offs have hit the buffers. Even if we were to somehow win our remaining 8 matches, I doubt we'd do better than 7th, as at least one other currently ahead of us would scrape in 6th. That said, Saturday's side will depend entirely on who's "up for it" & not feeling knackered.

I still haven't actually seen the game yet. But listening to it on LUTV, two things stood out; firstly, Florest apparently scored some exceptional goals that gave Lonergan no chance & would always go in; & 2nd, some of our players were running on empty. Becchio for one may need a break, as may others.

I think & agree with others on here. Warnock needs to start planning for next season. Who in the current 28 man squad is both fit & will still be in the squad next season? Who will progress from the reserves? Poleon? No, too young. Needs to progress via a loan spell with a L2 team. Gimpel? Same as for Poleon. Charlie Taylor? Currently on loan somewhere?

So that in part takes us to the current squad. Are Bruce, Bromby, & AOB currently fit? Worth giving at least one of them a starting space with another on the bench. Rest Lees. Decide whether to keep O'Dea. Snoddy will start, as he's captain. Probably worth starting with Webber on the other side. As to a LB, rest White & start with Pugh. Start with Paynter & McCormack up front. Leave Lonergan in goal, as we could destroy Cairns if he had a horror show behind an experimental back 4.

Definitely agree with starting Cairns as Warnock will find out whether he needs to find a back up keeper for next season. Persist with Lees as he is still young so may as well progress him, O'Dea no doubt will be in there, but he can pack his bags at the end of the season.

Anyone know why Robinson came off the other night? Was he knackered or injured because he took an age to get off the field. If fit i would stick with him to see whether he's worth signing and so Ken doesn't get angry as we know he doesn't like paying loanees who don't play.

Finally give Thompson a go in midfield as he impressed a RB and was unlucky with the Kisnorbo injury to prevent him having a prolonged spell in his natural position.

No Paynter! I want to thump Millwall and so will Warnock. He wont have enjoyed being embarassed like that & I'm sure the lads have felt it this week. Listening to his interview he done his best to protect the players, but I bet he didnt mix his words after the game.

Becchio seems to be the striker that fits the system & hes scoring goals. Lets not change that.
