Umm. IF we secure promotion, do you think there will be a 'bus' around the town? If so, which day do people think it would be? I'm at my mates wedding on the last day of the season, ahhh!
Definately 2/3 now...it would take some very strange results for us to drop to fourth. If we take each game at a time, win those, and tick them off the list, it won't be long before third position would also be unlikely if not impossible. At the moment the bookies have us as a virtual dead cert for promotion which gives a nice warm feeling even if doeasn't mean anything. P.s. would suspect bus parade would be on Sunday after Coventry game. Have to ask Nicola...he probably booked it when Markus bought the club
Something that occurred to me last night. IF we win the Championship and therefore we are presented with the Championship trophy (at the Coventry game for example), they will probably set up a winners platform/podium on the pitch for the team to parade on with pyrotechnics and ticker-tape - will this prevent a pitch invasion like last year? What would we prefer? Personally I would like to see the winner's podium set up with a lap of honour by the team at the end. After that, there would be nothing to prevent us from hitting every pub in town and getting completely ****ered! I may be getting way ahead of myself here but these things need to be considered.
Bus rides are usually midweek aren't they, so they're not over-run with people. I'd be happy if they did a promotion party at the stadium after he season's finished/during pre-season. But yes, we're getting ahead of ourselves. Let's keep chipping away (!!) and talk about it when it happens! COYR!!!
I might be getting ahead of myself here, but I told my housemates and anyone that would listen to me while drunk late night that saints will 100% get promoted. And j still stand by that today!
Yep, I would say that the throat spray bottle is being shaken at this very moment. A quick application and then we'll have a few scales. The performance isn't due for a while yet.
